mmm...headlight is supported by stays from both side...looks more moped than cyclomoteur (or luxe model), but what is this :??:

-1952:Aurelia(IIa serie)G.T.(ditto)
-1953:Aurelia(IIIa serie)G.T.2500(2.5 lt.,V-6--same engine of Aurelia Spider[B24]--the previous 2-lt.,with bore raised)
-1954:Aurelia(IVa serie)G.T.2500(ditto)

Replaced by Flaminia Coupè since 1958/1959(that inherits also same V-6 powerplant, upgraded and improved)

2007-05-14 16:35

kees-jan NLThis model: Somewhere from mai '58 to september '59: No red stripe on the side of the reflector (chrome part), short rear wing and dark housing for the rear indicator lights :D

I believe the side striping to be optional from the make Robri...

antp BEC'est bien flou, mais bien rare aussi :) 2007-05-13 21:16
rpcm PTAlthough the action takes place in France, it doesn't mean the car should be l.h.d. and they were exported before the B20S l.h.d. appeared with the 1954 4a serie. From this pic, it's not possible to say if this is a l.h.d. car. 2007-05-13 20:55
datsunZ ITBetter should be Aurelia [B 20 S]2500 G.T.

PS [B 20 S]'cause was the version for markets without right-hand steering-wheel(in fact:S=sinistra(guida)=left-hand steering-wheel)
2007-05-13 20:47
rpcm PTJudging by the sill trim ( introduced with the 1952 2a serie ) and the type of the headlight rim, I would say it's, at least, a 1953 3a serie 2500. Since it doesn't seem to have quarterlights on the front doors, it's not one of the last from the 6a serie. 2007-05-13 20:33
sixcyl FRThank's to confirm, I propose to list it as 1934 model then 2007-05-13 20:06
rpcm PTThis one is not easy. If the size of the windscreen could be better perceived ( because it seems to have a bigger one ) it could be a 1958 model year car. Nevertheless, and since it's listed as a 1200, this engine was only introduced in December 1953. 2007-05-13 19:46
DynaMike NLIt does look like that, Sixcyl: no bootlid handles and two fuel intakes, licence plate in the middle. So a 1934 Citroën 'Traction' 11 Légère (though it could be a 7A, 7S, 7B or 7C, if the place of the licence plate is as original as the rear bumper). 2007-05-13 19:39
DynaMike NLOK, that might be as you said (and I think you're right indeed), but even then, the first date of this Volkswagen would be October the first 1952, so MY 1953, I guess. ;) 2007-05-13 19:31
rpcm PTI didn't say anything about the VW, because it seems to be someone at the wheel, reading a paper. Trying to imagine a split rear window, I would say it was not so visible from this angle. 2007-05-13 19:25
DynaMike NLWell spotted, Rpcm! Btw, the Volkswagen seems to be an early 1953 model: split rear window, but plain bumpers, (1 October 1952 - 10 March 1953). 2007-05-13 19:16

DynaMike NLThough not very visible, I think it's a 1956 Mercury. 2007-05-13 14:47
DynaMike NLThere seems to be a lot of chrome in the grilles and the overriders seem to be quite big, which would point towards a 1954 model. Also it seems to be a hardtop: Starliner, only available in the Regal trim level. Six-cylinder Champions had a circle on the front of the rear fender, whereas eight-cylinder Commanders showed a V8-logo (not visible in this blurred picture). Champions were much more common in Europe, especially in France. So I'd opt for a 1954 Studebaker Champion Regal Starliner [15G]. 2007-05-13 14:42
