johnfromStaffs  | I was hoping that the front suspension would be independent and we might therefore say it was a post-war car cobbled up to look like a pre-war one. No such luck. Instead we appear to have beam axles suspended on cart springs both fore and aft. The other interesting point is that the car has hydraulic brakes by the look of it. The only further information I can offer is that if this were a British car, it would most likely be a Morris, Wolseley or MG chassis with those brakes and cart springs.
