Last MOT expired March 9, 2016" I think the 00 means normal version - I think there were White and Black editions as well - and cancelled in Sept 2013. Rumoured production was only 300, with 150 sold in UK, others in Europe. This is our first on the road sighting instead of motor shows - I've only ever seen 2 in the real world and one in a showroom. |

I would guess that the producers had a product placement deal with Opel's Israeli importer, who arranged for Vauxhalls to be supplied with the badges replaced. I assume General Motors provides Opel badged rather than Vauxhall's as seen in this other General Motors sponsored show, /vehicle_827542-Vauxhall-Corsa-2013.html - the registration comes up with Vauxhall but the grille is Opel. I assume its so that the products get more value for money as more nations have Opel than Vauxhall vehicles. |
