chris40 UK@roroldam: The first one could be /vehicle_156061-Simca-Week-End-1955.html . The second is a Peugeot 403, maybe one of these: /vehicle_11718-Peugeot-403-1958.html . 2013-06-28 14:50
roroldam ENUnless I'm blind, I don't think these two cars have been identified yet. One is very important, as Michel drives Patricia to the Champs Elysees in it. We only see it from the inside:

The other is quite important, as Michel stands by it with the door open:

My apologies if they have been identified, but I can't see them on the site.

DynaMike wrote Must be earlier, because of the split windscreen.

I agree. Last year for split windshield in a Chevrolet was 1952, so this would be 1949 - 1952.

Commander 57 USBoth Big Dave and Pilou have this half right (and 2 halves make a whole!)

This is actually a 1952 200.
Not a Mayfair as Pilou correctly observed since this is not a hardtop.
Big Dave had the year correct.

The trunklid ornament shown is exclusive to the 1952 model year on all lines.
This is a 200 based on taillamp design and the fact it has a non-wrapped rear window.

michael SECould also be a very rare Flight Hawk hardtop
since it's out of a European movie.
Only 560 of those were built.
2010-08-18 16:55
rjluna2 USIndeed it is 1958 based on the taillights... 2010-08-03 16:01
soiouz CAI think this is a 1958 Dodge Kingsway. The taillights are very clearly 1958 and certainly not 1957, and the lower side trim stops just before the front wheel well, so it's certainly not a Plymouth Belvedere. I know the 1958's usually have the upsweep on the tailfin, but I've seen a couple other examples of export 1958 cars that had this 1957-ish straight line. 2010-08-03 14:40
(inactive user)Not 1960, older 1958 model.
There are no indicators on top of the fenders.
2010-06-30 22:46
DynaMike NLPresented just before the 1956 Salon de Paris, but I guess we should list it as 1957(+). 2010-03-18 22:01
Commander 57 USIt's a hardtop and appears to have no fins at all, so listing as Sky.

Commander 57 USBumper guards look like '47 units.
Resolution not good enough to tell if Champion or Commander taillamps.

Commander 57 USWow.
So small and far away, barely worth listing.
Could be '53, '54 or '55.
1953 is least likely as appears to have a higher nameplate panel.
