DodgeMan USYes, the roof and doors were added later - they did not come from the factory that way. If the winch is original to this vehicle, it would be a WC-52. 2006-04-28 22:58

sixcyl FRThis ACMA Vespa considerations, should concerns only french production of Fourchembault (58 Nièvres)of the 50's/60's.. not the other Piaggio products over the world.
Therefore, only 2 french films could be involved

/vehicle_12193-Piaggio-Vespa.html (Le Petit Baigneur)

/vehicle_9713-Piaggio-Vespa+125-1950.html (Archimède le Clochard)

Now, I must find when Piaggio name really came definitively in France, and what became the Fourchembault production plant then?
2005-11-06 17:08
antp BEOK if there was a ACMA logo then I agree with you ;)
But maybe some of the Piaggio of the site should be re-labelled as ACMA then, since you added "ACMA" very recently?

sixcyl FRThe comparison is much like Fiat and Seat in the 50's , 60's, than Matra and Renault with the Espace or the Avantime. The ACMA products of this period was just wearing the logo P/ACMA (blue/white), Piaggio name didn't appeared at all until the Piaggio Group company had it's own dealing network in France around the 70's, through the S.A VESPA DIFFUSION 2005-11-06 16:08
antp BEEven if they were produced by ACMA, what name was used when they were sold? The "Piaggio" name does not already seem very common on ads, etc. I am not sure that it is correct to list them under "ACMA" if it is only the company that built them (like Renault Espace & Avantime that were build by Matra but sold as Renault).

yes that's why I prefered to take this picture as main picture.

Sure, the main pic does not always have to be the front+side pic, even if it is usually the case.

Thank's for the correction.
there are many Cadillac without type name in the Cadillac list...if you feel like...?

pilou BEThe front picture of the car shows a 1953 grille with the finned " Dagmars" .Also this unit has the one piece rear window and lacks the series 60 rear fender ornaments .So for me it is a Cadillac series 62 sedan of 1953.The three quarter rear view of the car here is superb. 2005-10-29 12:13

sixcyl FRthank's Alexander...as I've not my special book on peugeot in my flat here (it's in my house)...I couldn't check as required (I know with google we can have a better result but...)

The 203 découvrable was produced between 1950 and 1954, and was quite a sucess despite a short period of production about 11200 models made compared to about 25500 sedan produced (1948-1956) which is not so bad!
