stripe a écrit That is in fact a 1978 Coachmen class A RV. Most likely on the Dodge M500 Chassis with the 440-3, 440ci engine and 770 tranny judging by the wheels. That plus I own one. They were manufactured in 1977 with a model year of 1978. In the third photo you can see the generator hatch at the rear and the battery compartment to the right of the door is missing it's door. Right above that is the access panel to the rear of the three way refrigerator(12v/120v/LP). To the right of that is the lower access panel to the LP tank shutoff valve and above that a storage compartment.

Also, to Tom11 your right, 1978 was the ONLY year they used that front end and headlight molding.

EDIT: As determining it's length is impossible without something to compare it to, but because it is a class A, this RV can only be one of six models produced as a 1978 model year RV. The 23' VIP, 25' PRESIDENT, 26' DIPLOMAT, 26' SENATOR, 28' AMBASSADOR or 31' REGENCY. As to the Senktop name, I did not find that as a model name. Unless that is a model name used in Europe.

Thanks for the information. Judging by the thumbnails it looks a little long to be a VIP or a President and a little short to be an Ambassador or Regency, so I'm guessing this is either a Diplomat or a Senator. Senator seems a little more common and a better match in general, so better to list as Senator.

tom11Again, the year can only be 1978. 1978 was the only year they used that front end. From 1975-1977 they looked like this Link to "i.ushipcdn.com" in 1978 they looked like this http://spacecoast.craigslist.org/rvs/2897732249.html and in 1979 they looked like this http://www.runwalkjog.com/rvs/vermont/79_coachman507.JPG so 1978 is literally the only possibility! 2012-04-11 01:46
tom11Why is the year listed as 1975? I just said it was 1978. Heres another close matching 1978 http://missouri.freervshopper.com/rvs-parts/1978-coachman-motor-home.html 2012-04-09 23:51
tom11We should definitely list this as 1978 Coachmen. I think the model name is Senktop, the rear end looks like this one /vehicle_265077-Coachmen.html and I think that one is a Senktop  /vehicle_15925-Coachmen-Senktop.html

chrome83 a écrit I agree with opal, it's a Coachmen class A.

Yes, I agree too, thats a Coachman. I think the only year it can be is 1978. The 1978 is a good match http://spacecoast.craigslist.org/rvs/2897732249.html the 1979 had different headlights, turn signals, and grill Link to "www.classifieds12.com" while all the ones before 1978 looked like this Link to "i.ushipcdn.com" therefor, It can only be 1978 ;)

carcrasher88 USActually, I can definitely see it as a Saturn. If I recall properly, the only body panels (other than pillars) that weren't plastic were the hood, roof and trunk. 2012-03-22 03:32

I thought about that too when I saw the grill, but the headlight and turn signal positions are giving me to many doubts...

JohnnyBee77 a écrit es ist ein winnebago

Doesn't look quite like any Winnebago I've ever seen. I thought it might be an old Georgie Boy Excalibor or MRV Pompano when I saw the grill, but the headlight position is wrong. Maybe a Honey or Suncrest of some sort?

cieraguy USI'm thinking this is a 1996-1999 SL2. 2012-02-19 20:03
cieraguy USI'm going to say it's exactly a 1990 in Euro trim because it looks like it has these wheel covers: http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_images/1/2746/1901/6863450013_large.jpg which were only available that year, to my knowledge. 2012-02-19 19:59

Skid USIt's a 1967 (no marker lights) B-body Mopar of some type. I'm thinking a Dodge Coronet R/T (anyone else see what could be an "R/T" emblem mid quarter panel, ahead of the rear wheel?). 2012-02-18 14:02
