AnimatronixX ![]() | Thanks @Dachfi60 for these exciting news - that's some creative use of the "Body by Fisher" tag! I genuinely like how humble you are, but your father definitely deserves a mention in the headline here! ![]() |

Dachfi60 ![]() | This car was converted by my father some 40 odd years ago. He sold it in the last 5 years and it was subsequently sold to the guy who now owns it. After "demolishing" the 1960 Hawk in the prior series they were looking for a new car and this caught their eye as being a convertible it was more flexible for carrying camera's and such. To the guys querying the badge on the vent door that was something my father attached to all his custom cars .. "Body by Fisher" Although not apparent in this photo the boot features a continental ala the 1960 Chrysler Imperial and the grille outline was refashioned to be like the Packards originally. It would appear that the man who bought it off Dad replaced with his original grille & Conestoga script. -- Last edit: 2021-09-01 13:58:11 |

Lateef ![]() | This Custom-made Convertible based on a 62 Gran Turismo Hawk. The door script is that of a Conestoga Station Wagon. Nice conversation despite the abundance of custom trim pieces and parts - the hood is also that of an earlier Hawk. | 2021-06-14 11:13

MisterZ ![]() | Relatively rare 2012 "Vibe" model, imported from Japan due to the damage/production halt at the Thailand Honda factory caused by the 2011 floods. This colour "Azure Blue" was only offered on Japanese-built Vibe and Vibe-S trims, and was available from 2012 until mid-2013. Models imported from Thailand were never available in this colour. In addition, Japanese models can be distinguished by the indicators in the side mirrors, which Thai-built models lacked. As this is a 1.3L model, it has the code [GE6]. The [GE8] code was used for 1.5L models. -- Last edit: 2021-04-27 09:08:31 |

| RoverCarClub | This one is a bit of a concoction. Yes, it looks like an early 1971 series 2 P6 2000. The cursive script on front flank was a carry over from series 1. The "plaque" badges were not used until 1972 MY on 2000's. I am afraid it is not a NZ import, the cars that came in from NZ were under the Free Trade Agreement between Aus and NZ and only were P6B's from 1972 to 1976. And, the NZ colours were not the same as UK production. This looks to be Almond. But this car has a vinyl roof, 2000s did not come with a factory option of vinyl. Finally, the rego does not fit, it is from a white 1971 2000, which has gone to the great car yard in the sky. I am sure the producers used a fake rego so as not to cause problems with the owner, but it is a tad interesting it happened to be from another P6 in any case. Cheers, Peter. |

dsl ![]() | Agree 71+ Mk2, but I think side badge says 2000, both for the script itself when magnified (looks '000) and because always 3500 had plaque badge. NZ-build car exported to Aus and the inlet under bumper would be air-con. No tints or headrests so early plain Mk2. | 2018-07-09 21:35

MisterZ ![]() | This scene is meant to take place in the Philippines, but I have a feeling that it might be Australia. I checked the Filipino Jeep website, and it seems that the Patriot isn't sold there. Even if it was, it seems unlikely to me that it would be used as a police vehicle. Note that other episodes in this season were actually shot on location in the Philippines. -- Last edit: 2018-07-22 17:32:05 |
