DidierF FRAll right, I made a research and confirm somename suggestion. This must be a 1949 Chrysler Windsor Two-Door Convertible Coupé [C45W]. 2014-08-18 05:41
DidierF FRExactly the same car is seen here:
/vehicle_698866-Chrysler-1949.html

(Another movie directed by the same Raoul André.)

eLMeR MHAbout the difference between 3100 and 3800 models, which where the only two ones existing for the "Advance-Design Panel truck":
[Image: 4225073454_60cf6a9d8c_m.jpg] [Image: adpaneltruck.jpg] [Image: 3498623055_967599c522_m.jpg]
(3100 model: 196.62" / 4.99 m long; 3800 model: 227.94" / 5.78 m long)

According to these pics, I think we can confirm what andrepa guessed: the movie model is (and not only seems, as I said in a previous comment ;) ) a 1/2 ton / 3100 model.

I saw a lot of pictures of Advance-Design Panel Truck, read a lot about these vehicles, but I'm still not sure there is a way to identify a model year just with a rear view. So, even if the picture of the movie had more details (apart a good view of the door or the side of the hood), I think I shouldn't say more than what I proposed before:
1947 Chevrolet 3100 Panel [Advance-Design]
(with Advance-Design as generic model, like IMCDb already use for a larger identification of some vehicles (Renault X64, Volkswagen Typ 1, Alfa Romeo 162B, etc.).

eLMeR MHAnd it looks a lot like a 1947-1954 Advance-Design Panel truck :) :
This green and black one is a 1952-1954 model: push-button type front door handles and grille bars, all visible on the front picture (click to see)

About the movie truck: most likely a 3100 (1/2 ton) model, as the 3800 (1 ton) one had a longer wheelbase (116"/294.64 cm vs 137"/347.98 cm)
Follow the already mentioned links to see if you can set a precise year with only this rear view of the truck. This link should help too.

Now the choice for identification will be:
Chevrolet Advance Design, Chevrolet Panel Delivery Sedan, Chevrolet Panel Delivery Van, Chevrolet Panel Truck, Chevrolet Panel Van, or a new one (1947+ Chevrolet Advance-Design 3100 Panel Truck, which is the name Chevrolet gave it)?
Who said the IMCDb database was a little messy? :D
