JohnnyG5120 ![]() | The director and Mattel have NFI what this car actually is 🤣 Even the Barrett-Jackson listing calls it a Fairlane, but the VIN tells a totally different story: A6DG209324 Engine Code: A - I6 223ci OHV Production Year: 6 - 1956 Assembly Plant: D - Dallas, TX Body Style: G - Mainline/Customline Tudor or Sedan Production Sequence: 209324 If it were a Fairlane the body style code would be T. |

reck961 ![]() | The Ram 1500 Classic didn't come out until the 5th gen Ram debuted in 2019. This movie came out in 2017. Also, this article refers to it as a Ram Heavy Duty Link to "www.autoevolution.com" Something I noticed. they must have had 2 Ice rams, because this one from SEMA loaned to them by NBC has the regular halogen lights, but the backstage shots have the Projector lights. RushCars24ID ![]() | It's been like three years. A recap of this Murciélago when it went to Freddy "Tavarish" Hernandez... - After he bought it in February 2019, he and his team at Wrench Everyday (WE's channel is now known as The Questionable Garage) rebuilds it for seven months. - Freddy announces its rebuild completion in October 2019. - It was displayed to the public and other YouTubers at the SEMA 2019. - It got a challenge from Daily Driven Exotics against DDE's Toyota GR Supra, where it needs to driven until running out of gas, prior to the challenge, the bolts on the left rear wheel went loose, almost falling the wheel off. - Tavarish sold the Murcié in August 2020. He was reunited with the car at the Petersen Automotive Museum in March 2022, while he mentions he has a future consideration on "trading" it for a Murciélago LP 670-4 SV and a C8 Corvette Z06. And now, in November 2022, Tavarish found and bought ANOTHER one, it is the second Murcié survived from the movie after the first one he's previously restored, and was found in the United Kingdom. So, we have two of the three survived, the third stunt car was confirmed to be submerged and junked in the waters of Iceland. |

reck961 ![]() | So I did a little bit more research, and I found that all the US scenes were filmed in late spring / early summer of 2016, and with the odometer already reading 1800 miles, it's highly unlikely to be a 2017. Also, here's a photo of the 2020 Jeep GC Summit my dad just sold that shows the what the LED Fog lights on the 2017-21 looks like. ![]() |
2022-11-02 18:48 | ||
reck961 ![]() | Looking at the main photo, I think this might be a 2014-16 model year. Those rimes were only available for the Summit trim I believe. And in 2017, the Summit's fog lights were changed to have a LED light bar. Also, if you look closely at the main pic you can see black plastic on the lower right of the headlight. For 2017 going forward, that piece was painted body-color. |

futhark ![]() | I am certain this is a 1949 Chevrolet Fleetline 2 door sedan, based on the number of vertical bars in the grille, missing on the 1950 model. My family owned a 1950 Chevy Fleetline 2 door from purchase new to 1966. It was the car in which I learned to drive. My brother had a 1949 Chevy Fleetline 2 door. The trunk handle on the '49 was a T-bar and the trunk handle on the '50 was entirely different. Unfortunately the trunk handle is missing on the car in the movie. With stock brakes and suspension, I wouldn't want to be in this car over 65 mph. | 2022-08-03 20:34 | ||

night cub ![]() | @Parrilex304 - Several of your submissions are were too small to include. The general guideline is "90 pixels wide for a 720 pixels image is about the limit for useful pictures of most background cars" This is what 90 pixels looks like: |
