Z2 ![]() | 2001 based on the plate. Doesn't return anything, but a few other plates in the XGX1-- series return 2001 Holdens. | 2020-06-03 23:10
Z2 ![]() | Plate returns: 1999 "LX V6" trim (automatic/RWD). VIN: JAATFR25HX7108711 -- Last edit: 2021-06-06 06:18:00 |

Z2 ![]() | Looks like "CDX" trim due to wheel design. | 2020-03-21 21:04
night cub ![]() | Also looks like the refresh model, which started model year 1998 here. DC2 versions usually have a rear spoiler, I don't see one here. Looks like there were just two trims, GSi [DC4] and VTi-R [DC2] for most of those years, with the Type R coming in 1999. Link to "www.carsguide.com.au" -- Last edit: 2020-02-10 11:16:30 |

Z2 ![]() | We had DC2 and DC4. I don't know which one this is, so just list as DC. | 2020-02-10 10:33
night cub ![]() | What engine did they come with in AUS, the 1.6 or 1.8?![]() |

AnimatronixX ![]() | Coachwork by W.D. Hadley. Oh, and I got my first W116 funeral coach with these alloys - they just match almost any older Mercedes-Benz cars. |

Exiv96 ![]() | I've had a look at goAuto.com.au, and the australian series had the following introduction dates : JR : June 1997 to August 1998 JS : August 1998 to August 1999 JS series II : August 1999 to December 2002 Link to "www.goauto.com.au" |

Lateef ![]() | Based on a 1980-85 model despite being fitted with 1986+ alloys. | 2016-09-27 12:12
MisterZ ![]() | 1998 model (CE II) due to updated tail-lights, but old style boot. The boot was updated in the 1999 "CE2" update. "GLi" model due to painted (body-colour) trim around door frame and B-pillar (other models had black trim). Besides CE, these were also known as [CJ2] for 1.5L (GLi), and [CJ5] for 1.8L (GLXi/MR). The CJ2 code was shared with the 3-door Mirage hatchback. -- Last edit: 2019-12-31 03:33:17 |

dsl ![]() | Agree saloon - has mid-life grille = 2000 TC, 2500TC, or 2500S, but looks simple trim so 2000TC safest. ^ interesting link to AMI in Aus - has some new connections to follow. | 2013-12-13 22:34
antp ![]() | @Davez621, is there a better view of it? | 2013-12-13 16:39
zodiac ![]() | I believe this is not a Stag as that one always had over riders. The question is if it's a 2000 Mk2, a 2500 S Mk2, a 2500 TC Mk2 or a 2.5 PI Mk2. One possibility is to have a look at the badge to see if it reads 2000, 2500 or 2500 Injection. I can't. Perhaps it's not divided as on the 2.5 PI Link to "en.wikipedia.org" (look close) compare with the 2000 http://www.autoweek.com/article/20100525/collector/100529849 and the 2500 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Triumph_2500.jpg . Triumph had a assembly plant for CKD both in Australia (called AMI http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Motor_Industries ) and on New Zeeland. |

Exiv96 ![]() | There's a 1990 Subaru Fiori on the right, the Australian version of the Rex/M80. Can it get its own entry ? It's the first one on the site ! -- Last edit: 2013-12-13 06:48:21 |

MisterZ ![]() | Sold as the "Eunox 30X" between 1992-1996, and "Mazda Eunos 30X" from 1996-1997. It's therefore quite rare to see a Mazda badged 30X. -- Last edit: 2013-12-13 01:15:50 |

MisterZ ![]() | 1994+ due to tail-light design. 1992-1993 models had clear rear indicators, while this one has orange ones. | 2013-11-28 09:09
MisterZ ![]() | Rare GXV model (most likely V8 petrol), due to body-colour door handles. RV & GXL models had chrome handles. GXV was the top-of-the-line model until late 2002, when it was replaced with the Sahara (previously this nameplate was used from 1983-1997), but this can't be a Sahara because that update got clear rear indicators, while this one has orange ones. The GXV was also the only model with the 4.7L V8 petrol engine until late 2002, when that engine became standard on all models (a turbo diesel could also be optioned on all model grades as well). Note: from 1998-1999, this was the only Landcruiser in Australia with the J100 code - all other trims were J105. -- Last edit: 2021-02-27 22:35:19 |

MisterZ ![]() | Although there is no plate I am assuming it's an '05 model, as it's meant to be brand-new (used in a commercial shoot). | 2013-11-27 11:45
MisterZ ![]() | In season 2 it has a NSW plate, rather than ACT, so we now know the year. 1982 BLUE VOLVO 244 SEDAN SEDAN VIN/Chassis: ********9206 |

atom ![]() | This is the way we list coach built vehicles right now, this is to identify the origin of the coach builder. I don't know if antp have a better solution for this in the new version of the site. | 2013-11-22 13:19
MisterZ ![]() | After further research, I found out these ambulances were introduced in 1996 in NSW (as well as Victoria). Petrol engines were used from 1996-1997, and diesels beginning in 1998. Not built in Aus. Only the conversion to an ambulance is done in Aus - the vehicle itself is from the US. -- Last edit: 2017-12-12 13:58:27 |

Sandie ![]() | Looking at comments elsewhere it can be as late as 1998 (the 1999 Sierra was a new generation). In such cases when there is a range of possible years we use the first possible year of that range to list the vehicle with. Unless, of course, it is one of those situations where there is a really long year range that isn't much use. | 2013-11-19 05:10
Sandie ![]() | Older ones have a different front end style, I think. | 2013-11-19 04:20

Sandie ![]() | This is a later model (body coloured trim) which would be March 99+ in the UK, so I guess that would fit with JS2? | 2013-11-18 15:36
MisterZ ![]() | These GMCs were pretty much the only vehicles used as ambulances in Australia from 1996-2003. Prior to 1995, the Ford F-Series was used, but it was discontinued in Australia, leaving this vehicle the only option. When production of this generation ended, Mercedes Sprinters started to replace them, although these GMCs were still in use up until around 2007. In Victoria, they usually had black bonnets (hoods), but this one is a NSW ambulance. I would estimate this ambulance to be a 1998-1999 model due to having the newer blue and red style lightbar on the roof. 1996-1997 GMC ambulances had all-red lights in NSW (but not in VIC). -- Last edit: 2019-12-09 04:46:39 |

MisterZ ![]() | JS was offered in all 3 body styles - sedan, hatch, and wagon. It goes like this: JR = 1997-1998 (1997 models fully imported, 1998 sedans locally assembled) JS = 1998-1999 (sedans/wagons locally assembled, hatches imported) JSII = 1999-2000 (sedans/wagons locally assembled, hatches imported) JS2 = 2000-2002 (fully imported) The wagon was only offered in the JS and JSII series. -- Last edit: 2020-01-30 15:33:20 |

walter ![]() | JS is the wagon, isn't it? /vehicle_648515-Holden-Vectra-JS-1998.html | 2013-11-18 12:30
MisterZ ![]() | This is a 08/2000+ ("MY01") [JS2] due to the colour-coded side strips. 08/1999-07/2000 "JS II" models had black strips (except imported hatches). "CD" trim due to painted door handles (base model GLs had black handles). This one is fully imported, as Australian assembly of sedans and wagons only took place from 1998-2000. -- Last edit: 2020-01-30 08:28:50 |
