however , those wheels could make it even newer than 1996

Raji DZThat makes sense! thank you ingo, I had always the idea that most of the American cars were bad since the 1970's (probably since the 1973 embargo) except you mentioned the rebadged Simcas which are not American.
I remember reading Facebook comments written by a car enthusiast from Morocco about the bad quality of LeBaron, he said it engine was really bad and very non-reliable, according to him!
1970's to 2000's American cars were goodly sold in some Arab gulf countries, and as I noticed the good reputation vehicles were always from GM (like the 1977-90 Caprice) and Ford (like the 1998-2012 Crown Victoria), no remarkable Chrysler's unfortunately.

It was bad since the 70ies, when Chrysler pushed British Rootes-crap and relabeld Simcas in the West German market.
In the late 80ies Chrysler tried it again in Germany, mainly with the LeBaron-stuff (the worst terrible K-Car range was never officially sold here), in the early 90ies with Neon and Stratus, also bad quality cars.
The Daimler-Chrysler connection made it even worse, it was a total disaster for Mercedes Benz, especially for the reputation. The Chrylers of that time were much worse than the Benzes, but the late 90ies Benze were terrible clunker too. In the mid-90ies Mercedes Benz said, they will cut 30% of the costs, but without any failure in quality - which was of course a gigantic bogus bullsh*t.

And no, the Voyager didn't had a good reputation in Germany either, although it was assembled in Austria.

Used Chryslers belonged always to the most worthless brands and models on the German market.

It was a marketing thing. Dodge was introduced in Germany as a brand for lads (there were even explanations about the meaning of "lad" in German motor magazines).
Annother reason was the terrible reputation of the name Chrysler in Germany.

newport.pagnell ATthese are the rearlight with the integrated reverse lamps, these have never been fitted to any Hunter or DBS.
So it has to be a later V8, considering the restyled rear it must be a Oscar India V8 or later model, anywhere between late 1978 and 1989.

I cannot remember the brand, but it's a more expensive one. But at least only nothing more than just this lightweight construction-shit. Not recommended for the German climate.
