The use in the Egyptian Fura of these pre-series Ibiza hubcaps is very curious. In Spain they were discarded because although they were beautifully designed and aerodynamic, the brakes did not ventilate well ... I don't want to imagine the lack of ventilation in a country warmer than Spain like Egypt.

njot33 USThis is a Skylark Sport Sedan- rarely ordered, you hardly ever saw them even when they were new.
Unique grille and tail lights on these, also the black trim around the doors instead of chrome, and wheel covers specific to that model.
Offered from 1980-82 only.

tore-40 NOIf thumbnail is the same car (and it does have the same NASR next to it) then the front lid and windscreen show the absense of a 1303-front. Rear window seems to be 1972+, as are rear vents. Bananas on thumb is just a guess. Don't know who changed it to 1303, but it surely is not. It's rather a 1974 1300.

Weasel1984 PL2106, so 1600 as default. 2013-01-08 13:53
Weasel1984 PLNow it's a really strange one. The front fenders are already 1975+. The roof (w. small C-pillars vents), can be 1975 too (only 1975). Rear (at least the lights) are 1975+. Front doors without openable vent windows were used since 1976. But the worst is, it has front end without extra holes which reminds the one of the pre-1975 car (despite the grille is of the later type)...
It has to be not original. Egypt is well known from such "re-constructions".
