The cameo scene intro just says "New Jersey 1970" Steppenwolf released Hey Lawny Mama in April 1970 according to their FB page and it reached the Top 35 in May 1970 according to other sources. 68olds442 | Why is that ironic? I see cars in Europe with number plates from other euroland countries all the time. It's pretty common actually. No different than seeing out of state plates or Canadian and Mexican plates here in the US. |

68olds442 | In the Stan Lee cameo, he's driving a 71 or 72 Olds Cutlass convertible. I had uploaded a picture and added it to the list of cars for the movie but the moderators removed it for some unknown reason. The taillights are unique to 71-72. Ken-san  | I think the Land Rover is the long bed pickup, called the HCPU (High Capacity Pick Up), which is what you would need to haul a Hulk. It has British number plates, which is ironic in a scene set in Scandinavia. I think this truck would be a 110 inch wheelbase, rather than the 130 inch option. It has a single cab. I think the black limousine which Howard Stark gets into on the army base is a Cadillac Fleetwood, possibly a 1970 model. There are Jeeps and other military vehicles on the base. The maroon sedan in the scene where Captain America dances with his wife - I think that's a 1948 4-door Plymouth. I wasn't specially paying attention to this film, but the cars stuck in my mind! |
