The Spork King USI use to own this movie car!! I bought it off eBay in 1996. I owned it for about 2 years before I regrettably sold it. It went to Texas to be used at a non-profit. I miss this car!!

an_unusual_eye USshe's an early one. this first style of bumper (of 5 versions that the S30 cars wore in the duration of the U.S. market run) lasted from the beginning of production in 1969 through the end of the 1972 model year. in this case though, based on the vents below the rear window in the hatch panel, we can limit production to those made before the end of the 1970 calendar year. she's either a 1970 or an early 1971 model. 2015-08-28 18:13

BrentMosher420 a écrit How does one differentiate between a 260Z and a 240Z? :??:

By the bumpers. The 240Z has the small bumpers, there were a couple different styles. An Unusual Eye knows them the best. I'm still trying to figure them out. There were two different bumpers for the 260Z (which was only sold for 1974 model year, the year the bumpers standards went up to 5 MPH). They started with the small bumpers with larger bumper guards, then switched to the large bumpers that were also used on the 1975-76 280Z. The larger bumpers also moved the parking lights from below the bumper to the grill.

CougarTim USI checked Chrysler products first per cl82's thought, but I quickly verified the vent windows were not correct. My own hunch was that rectangle on the door was an Oldsmobile badge. I started at the 1965 brochure and went forward from there, and got lucky.

I wish I could get paid for this.
