G-MANN  | Just noticed this film used footage from the chase in Get Carter (the Sly Stallone remake) and the Jaguar in that was a Vanden Plas V12, although this shot isn't from that and not the same car (different licence plate), must be from a bit they shot to splice in the with the chase footage, but they might have found another Vanden Plas V12. -- Last edit: 2013-01-08 13:38:08 |

| G-MANN | It's a really a sign of quality when a film has to steal so much footage from another film! Actually the chase I was talking about was in a different film (Y2K starring Louis Gossett Jr) and it was taken from a different part of Basic Instinct (the bit later on where Sharon Stone's female lover tries to run over Michael Douglas and, after dueling with his Mustang, ends up crashing the Esprit and getting herself killed).
