sixer THIt's 1993 Audi S4(regular model is 100) with 2.2 turbo 220 bhp(limited by thai law) manual gearbox..
when back in 1993 thai/usd was 1 usd/25 thb... and the car was 110,000 usd!! in thailand.

now the currency is 1 usd/30 and about the same money we could buy only A4 B8 2.0 T..

Camarofan a écrit Thailand origin ? I don't think it's a Custom-Made Jeepney/Tourist Car.

I am not sure about the origin, but I think there are no need to import (built in Thailand).

Edit : Not Philippines model origin too. Custom made, this is not Jeepney, made for Bangkok,Thailand.

mysandman AUVery good point toddy81. Not every panelvan is a Sandman, I"m going to watch this film and get a better idea of the model presented here. As for being a Sandman or not is absolutely impossible without physically checking the car and its ID plates.

However this is NOT a Sandman, because of the window type, this is a BO6 Ambulance package.

Love Krittaya THI don't know too. (Corolla is bigger than Soluna. And when this Corolla model (in this picture) released, I think the Soluna is unreleased.)

Taxi in this picture is Toyota Corolla (seventh generation — E100 series, production = 1991-1997).

Edit : Bangkok Taxi, Thailand built

-----------

Edit :

Toyota Soluna = 1500 cc. engine
Bangkok taxi = 1600 cc. engine or bigger
(The new rule for taxi may change to "1300 cc. or bigger" engine soon.)

Love Krittaya THIn Thailand, This model (with this style of its face) called "Toyota Hilux Mighty-X" (or simply Toyota Mighty-X). This is not a "Toyota Hilux Tiger" (or simply Toyota Tiger). The Tiger model is newer than model in this picture.

Love Krittaya THIn #224161 picture, Toyota Corolla taxi (bottom car of #224161 picture). I am also don't know what the center car (taxi) is.

In Garco's picture (2009-04-15 20:40), blue-red taxi is Nissan Sentra (B13).

Love Krittaya THToyota Soluna is unpopular to use as taxi in Bangkok, so this may be Toyota Corolla.

ingo DE@avenger: the V8 always had the front indicators in the bumper, see the thumbnail. The car on the main pic above has definetely an Audi 100/A 6-front. 2009-04-17 12:33

walter IT@ avenger: sorry but it's an S4 without any doubt ;) . The V8 is a different car. As already said, it has some aftermarket modifications, and maybe they can seem it bigger.
Compare them:

ingo DE@garco: not really. Very often you can see in Asian town many more tuned up versions of big Mercedes, BMW and Audi than in Europe. I mean really high-end version, modified by the popular manufacturers, not just shabby basis versions where a boy from the countryside and badged a plastic-spoiler on. 2009-04-16 21:01
garco NLIt's called Nissan NV here:

drujon USThe main photo shows the composite headlight of the '90-'92 Brougham, the smaller photos show an '80-'84 Fleetwood Limousine, the aftermarket big grill hides the exact year model. I suspect that the limousine was fitted with the later headlights which is quite easy to do. 2009-04-16 17:35
avenger FIIt´s older than 940, 760/740 rather. 2009-04-16 17:15
walter ITOoooooooooooooooooohhhh my god it's an Audi S4 C4! It's so rare to see expecially in the sedan version like this. That one has some aftermarket modifications, like the (BBS?) alloy wheels. As the following S6 C4, the S4 C4 (based on the Audi 100) was available with the 2.2T (230hp) and the 4.2 (280hp). Absolutely beautiful.
So 1992 Audi S4 C4 (Typ 4A) :)
