electra225 ![]() | Two different 21s because the one in the thumb is a series I 4 door and the main one is a series II 5 door hatchback., two stars as used by one of the potential killers to approach the main character. | 2015-01-25 16:29
130rapid ![]() | ST184 is direct code for 2.2 litre US version. Here we have French market car so can't exclude 1.6 or 2.0 litre engine. T180 family code will be safer. The colour looks 1992+. |

| booster | Nothing at all I'm afraid there isn't a way to externally identify a carburated 1.6 from a diesel apart from the trim badge on the boot/trunk. Externally both models are identical. Maybe from interior (RPM gauge, seat trim,...) and of course by a look at its engine but from this view, it's imposible to tell. 1.6i would be easier. -- Last edit: 2008-06-17 22:23:57 |

tali ![]() | But what visually tells it's specifically a 1.6 carb or 2.0diesel ? | 2008-06-17 22:08
| booster | No, it's not a 1.6i, just 1.6. The injection engines were put after this model. ![]() But as I said it can be a 2.0dLX diesel as well. -- Last edit: 2008-06-17 12:13:03 |

antp ![]() | it was for the sidecar on the left, but as our two bike experts gave up on this one I guess it will stay unknown for long time | 2007-01-01 19:28
Dr.Kotz ![]() | The car in the middle of this pic is definitely a Citroën Traction Avant 11 BL. It has been built after 1938 (because of shining, not-flat "chevrons" on the front grille), the missing overriders on the front bumper fit a pre-war type and the high mounted windshield wipers say this car has been built before 1952. | 2007-01-01 19:03

leolito ![]() | Oh well ... CJ (Cabrio Junior) had the 1100 engine and very 'standard' trim ... the CTI was basically an 'open' version of the 1.6 GTI model, including alloys, side mouldings (is that the right word?), fog lamps, sports' seats and leather steering wheel/gear knob. There were also some versions with the 1360, but I believe they were 'special editions' (i.e. Roland Garros). As the fog lamps were optionals on the CJ and I haven't found many of those with lamps (just search on any pre-owned cars site), I'd be tempted to label it as a CJ model and if we get another shot we'll think about it ![]() PS: 'clear' turn indicators makes me think of a '91 or later model (only one more year I guess, at least in some markets) |
