Sandie ![]() | I wondered if it was the same one as: /vehicle.php?id=1437632 (albeit tarted up with alloy wheels etc) but it's a later model with the facelift introduced later in 1998 due to the number plate being in the bumper. Power bulge makes it a diesel version rather than the V6. -- Last edit: 2020-10-20 20:25:24 |

dhill_cb7 ![]() | Great information Sandie! Does this require a name change to Suburban with C-3500 in extra information? Also 1999 MY? Edit: These were called Suburbans. They were C/K-3500s. See this brochure for the available conversions: https://www.flickr.com/photos/47362452@N02/4801589642/in/photostream/ - this is a subsidiary of Wheeled Coach. K-3500 by the fender flares. -- Last edit: 2019-06-04 18:31:09 |

Sandie ![]() | Far as I can tell the NEAS fleet of Chevrolet Suburbans were registered in at least two batches: R6xx WPU = stripe livery as 4.03 thumbnails registered in late 1997. T5xx KAR = Battenburg livery as main image. Registered in 1999. Surrey had at least two batches too registered in the registrations S4xx STW (August 1998) and V6xx KNO (1999) as well. No livery differences on their's however. |

Truck_Guy ![]() | Interesting, the only GM trucks I knew about in GB were a few C-3500 HD that had been converted into armored vehicles called the TAVERN. http://www.warwheels.net/TavernAPVindex.html Link to "www.gmt400.com" |

dhill_cb7 ![]() | I think these were actually labeled Suburban for this market? Every reference source calls them Suburbans. Just like Truck_Guy found they called them Chevrolet Sierra in a certain market (forget which). I think we may have to change these to Suburbans? -- Last edit: 2019-06-01 02:56:30 |

Sandie ![]() | So Transit Executive like: /vehicle.php?id=323742 I'm not sure whether these should be Transit Executive as name or have Executive as extra info. It's no newer than 1991 by the front but I'm also not sure what the first year for the Executive was. Basically, there's not much I'm sure of here. ![]() |

Catherine ![]() | Hopefully the picture works! Here it is now, because this is now my regular runabout. Sadly it doesn't get to do much crime fighting these days, but it enjoys a school run or trip to Aldi. I bought my lovely Saab on ebay a few years back for not many pennies, and had no idea it had such an exciting past. Thanks for the interest. |

G-MANN ![]() | Here http://www.balmoraluk.com/saleshistory.php the Brooklands all have black (or dark green?) badges. You probably could order one with a red badge but I think red badges were standard for the Turbo R to differentiate it from the other models. -- Last edit: 2015-10-13 20:14:37 |

eLMeR ![]() | The other bed option (Fleetside) was unveiled in March 1958, giving de facto a name to the bed style of this truck starting in 1958. So I think the Stepside complement is relevant. -- Last edit: 2015-10-12 21:20:42 |

eLMeR ![]() | 1955-59 C-Series, with the 1959 only fender emblem. The short wheelbase (114"/2.90 m) / short bed (78⅛"/1.98 m) of that truck line indicates a ½-ton 31, and the (1958+) Stepside bed gives it then the 3104 Chevrolet model code. As 1958-61 Chevrolet light-duty model, an Apache truck indeed. ⇒ 1959 Chevrolet Task-Force Apache 31 Stepside [3104] -- Last edit: 2015-10-12 21:07:12 |

eLMeR ![]() | 1960-66 C-Series, with the 1961 only front face indeed. "Short bed" makes it a ½-ton C-10, meaning a C1404 Chevrolet model code when with the Stepside bed. And as a matter of fact, a 1958-61 Chevrolet light-duty model was also called an Apache truck. ⇒ 1961 Chevrolet C-10 Apache Stepside [C1404] -- Last edit: 2015-10-12 21:00:32 |
