jpts ![]() | Funny bit in this scene is Ben Kinnear (Mick Molloy) watching the needle on the speedometer hovering around the 20 MPH mark. That and I got nothing on the VRE on the car's Victoria registration; PQW 515. -- Last edit: 2017-10-14 14:57:09 |

jpts ![]() | I love this film because it dealt with corruption within the police service and government, plus it deals with a age-old question for the honest police officers who are assigned to different police stations; "If assign to a police station or division known with corrupt officers or see them involved in illegal acts, who do you trust?". That and the movie was filmed during the Melbourne Gangland War and was filmed around when the Victoria Police Ethical Standards Division were conducting an internal investigation into the Victoria Police Drug Squad for corruption. -- Last edit: 2017-01-26 08:00:47 |

jpts ![]() | These are not incredibly fast especially when being pelted by water balloons being thrown by "mischievous tykes" on bikes. That's probably why these vehicles weren't used by the Victoria Police in their marked patrol fleet. -- Last edit: 2017-09-15 15:10:28 |

Rastaman ![]() | The mirrors are in the same color as the car, so this is a MoPf 1 (1989-1993) The 220E was built 1992 and 1993, so I would think it fits. Are there any other shots of this car? | 2013-10-28 11:51 | ||
MisterZ ![]() | In the movie, the rear of the car says "220E" but that can't be right because the 220E didn't go on sale in Australia until 1993, and the license plate on this car (plus the pre-facelift grille) indicate that this car is much earlier than '93. | 2013-10-28 09:49 |
