petacchi ROBuilt in Romania since 1998, see "Daewoo Automobile Romania, 6 ani" section in the link above:

"Anul 1998 a fost cel mai important din punct de vedere al lansarii de noi modele: TICO în luna iunie, LEGANZA si DAMAS în septembrie si octombrie, NUBIRA în noiembrie."

petacchi ROIn my opinion the 1986 year is not correct. The first ones were sold from January 1989, so 1988 in my opinion would be more adequate: http://www.imagebam.com/image/2c1243117839801
Indeed not a microcar, but may I dare to say that the supermini word refers to a larger car than a mini one, rather than to a smaller one? :D
2011-09-20 12:25
antp BEwith 100 km/h speed it is just a supermini a little slower than a smart.
The "microcar" category are for those that you can drive without a license and that are limited to 45 km/h (or similar cars)

petacchi ROClass: Microcar 2011-07-16 17:26
petacchi RO1997+ for the Nova in the main picture; it's the first year when it was marketed with flat tailgate (not bubbled); we cannot see how many red lamps there are in the rear bumper to be able to say it's one from 1999. The one in the thumb is a different car and by the single red lamp in the bumper and the black badges (that say it's a Nova and not SupeRNova) it is a 1999 model.

petacchi ROSo, shall we change it to just [W126], judging by the headlights, mirrors and the rear view thumb?

petacchi ROIt could be a Nubira I too, I think they were more popular than the II in the combi versions. It doesn't look like there's any difference at the rear between them at the wagons. The headlights could be the only identifying element and they look to be the wider ones from the first generation (J100, built 1998+): http://img607.imageshack.us/i/furiacd2avisnapshot0220.jpg/ 2011-04-19 13:26
Weasel1984 PLAt least by the bumper it is a 1983+, by the handles ca 1984. The badge is not well visible but might be even of the 1990 B1000-1.

Weasel1984 PLThen just 100, no? AFAIK standards were "no name" in pre-105 era. 2011-04-17 16:03
petacchi ROYes but think that it's fictional after all, that they're talking about US dollars and in the year 2002; at the time you had to pay duties for imported customs and that raised the internal prices of second hand cars. And talking of that, after the accession to the European Union those protectionst barriers should have been removed but actually that didn't happen especially for older cars; there was introduced a new so called first registration tax for every new or imported car (unlike in Poland, Bulgaria etc), that often for older cars is higher than the value of the car itself. That's why today you can see on the streets here a number of cars registered with bulgarian plates but with local owners. There were even created special enterprises that register your car there (in Bulg.) for no more than an amount of about 200€. 2011-04-17 13:33

Looks like yes. Back to Skoda, it's 1973+ 100 S (newer door handles and painted engine-vent crate instead polished aluminium).

ingo DEA bit more that 3000 offered Escorts of any model-years: Link to "suchen.mobile.de"
1800 of them are for less than 1000 € : Link to "suchen.mobile.de"
With a bit negotiation skill you'll get one rough, but roadworthy Escort for a box of beer or a full-size-McDonalds-menue for the seller.

Gomselmash11@ ingo: the same issue here... the prices :/ 2011-04-17 00:30
ingo DE:wow: So much money for such a shitty wreck? Despite I'm not convinced, that it's a real XR3i, it's obviously gone. filling paste on the front, changed door, unoriginal alloys, plus the fact, that (in Germany) the Escort was coming after Golf and Kadett/Astra (in price, reputation, reliability).
In Germany it was worth a fifth of that amount, the crushing was more probable than the selling.

petacchi RODrop Side were the ones with the openable rear and lateral parts: /vehicle_387580-Dacia-1305-Drop-Side-2000.html

Their model number was 1305 and since 2002 they carried only "Drop Side" sticker-badges (img).

Those like the one from the main image were the 1304, the rear side of the body was in line with the doors and were similary badged "Pick Up" (img) since 2002 and between 1999 and 2002 I noticed the capitalization was "Pick-up" (img) and the wording was a little smaller and only on the left pillar (img).
