Z2 ![]() | "CS" trim. I don't see a "1.6" badge, so we can assume it has the 1.3 and therefore [AE80] code. | 2020-05-18 17:39
Z2 ![]() | 1990+ due to painted mirrors. [ED3] code in Australia for sedans (hatches had ED6 code). All used the same 1.5L carburetted engine. Sedans were only available in "GL" trim after 1989 (1988 models could be had in base DX or GL). Interestingly, the Civic sedan costs less today in Australia (in 2020) than it did back in 1990 - see below: 1990 price was $23,000 for the automatic model, plus $2,000 extra for air conditioning, bringing the total to $25,000. January 2020 price is $22,390 for the base automatic (this has since increased to $23,590 in 2021). -- Last edit: 2021-02-10 06:59:14 |

dhill_cb7 ![]() | MisterZ do you have any information on whether these conversions were C(2WD) or K(4WD)series? I was going to begin researching but I figured I'd ask someone who knows more about them first. |

Exiv96 ![]() | Probably a local conversion. The model badge reads "2.0 ST", which makes this early model an [RA60] in the australian market (US-spec cars didn't have "2.0" badges). | 2018-04-06 18:35

MisterZ ![]() | 2001+ [U8] due to "Jackaroo" written above the side cladding. 98-00 models had it written on the cladding itself. 2001+ models also had black trim/strips on the bumpers and side, which we can just make out here. -- Last edit: 2021-02-15 04:35:20 |

fontheking5 ![]() | Legacy in most markets | 2014-10-26 21:13
MisterZ ![]() | 1991+ for RS, if this is the case. I think the trim (not the model name) should be just "RS" (all RS's were turbos). I was basing this being a Heritage on the fact that it has a sunroof - no other trim level had one. It could be aftermarket, though. -- Last edit: 2014-12-04 06:29:55 |

MisterZ ![]() | @130rapid - this is an Australian show. How can this Celica be converted in the US?? Were they shipped to the USA to be converted and then shipped back to Japan again? -- Last edit: 2014-10-27 12:25:47 |

tomflack ![]() | This isn't a Heritage, it is an RS Turbo. You can tell (just!) by the wheels. The Heritage doesn't have such large holes between the spokes. Additionally, the rear spoiler doesn't have a middle pillar which the Heritage does. The RS Turbo was the only model to have a rear spoiler with only two pillars. |
