s13a ![]() | Not a DIM, sadly. That's an early Daihatsu Fellow Max or perhaps rather called 360 in Greece (at least it was the name used for the general export market). I can't find about the models' history in Greece on hellenic motor history, but Daihatsu models were more or less commonly seen on Greek roads since 1960s. The bumpers' curved ends is a dead giveaway, plus those tail lights. The DIM has a wraparound rear bumper, as seen in the pictures above. Moscvich433 ![]() | I think you're right! I find a site where we can find some information about D.I.M and its products. So, there says that it has Fiat 126 engine and base, and a body which is very similar to Autobianchi A112 body (This unknown vehicle is really looks like A112, but it's not it). In my source it was called DIM 625 (Since 1977+). But, interesting thing - in official brochure wrote that it's DIM 594 - I think, we can believe it. I didn't find some photos of back part of this one, but some similar parts with front-view photos we can see. Just look: ...A112 lights, rear slopping racks...Similar details, yep? 1977 brochure: ...So, by this I'am sure that it's really DIM 594. And, I think, it can be 1977+ DIM 594 [126A], Model origin - Greece, Class - Supermini. P.S. Sorry for my bad english. -- Last edit: 2016-04-26 08:54:40 |

dsl ![]() | Agree a later colour - I think called Highland Green in UK and I always think of it as a launch colour for poverty level Granada Mk2 so Sept 77+ here. | 2016-04-25 16:41
dsl ![]() | Someone's entered it as 1100 XL which is interesting. UK only had XL as 1300, and I know that Italy at least had 1100 XL, plus opening quarterlights which were not fitted to UK XL. So seems likely GR spec would be similar to I and made in Genk or Koln, not Dagenham. | 2016-04-25 16:40

dsl ![]() | No correction needed. Opening rear window with chrome edge more likely to be 1000, although they did mix and match a bit. Single colour Mk2 Coopers were available, but most were 2-tone. Austin or Morris depends on local market preference, if any. | 2016-04-25 16:26
