| tonkaTRACKER | A daytime running lamp is an automotive lighting device on the front of a roadgoing motor vehicle, installed in pairs, automatically switched on when the vehicle is moving forward, emitting light to increase the conspicuity of the vehicle during daylight conditions. as noted above it is required in Canada, a lot of cars in the US have this feature also, including all 1996 and up GM vehicles, most Late model Toyotas. Honda, Volkswagen, Volvo, Suzuki and Subaru have also added DRLs to USDM vehicles. Although it does also say: which, if true would mean that the wagon may have been introduced for the 92 model year.
