Sure, it's pretty dumb and a lot of scenes are hard to take seriously, but I have a soft spot for over the top action movies and I liked the look of some of the cars. Yeah, it's a movie rife with issues but it's hardly the worst thing ever made like everyone on the site makes it out to be. But what do I know? I'm just a naive optimist that mostly says positive things, even if they're hot takes. |

theFolksVolks  | The production team used ten purpose-built replicas for filming. Of those ten, only one survived. Yes, they were real, just not official versions of the car. The scenes where it jumped out of the skyscrapers were either heavily altered with expensive visual effects or completely fabricated through Computer Generated images. I think it's annoying when people just dismiss expensive and difficult visual effects and label it at CGI. grow a fucking brain and do your research. |

Both cars were shortened by the same amount, in the same position (right behind the door) and therefore the wheelbase was shortened in order to make them agile in rough terrain. Even the spare tires in the open trunk are the same. Only exception is in the movie the tire size is bigger. |
