40889335 ![]() | F4 sixcyl, and then we have 2 C-130 Hercules, 1 F4 Phantom II (there was another plane with the code phantom in inmediately post wwii times) and the B-47, but the second from the left, is it an F-16 Fighting Falcon or a F-104 Starfighter????? | 2009-07-06 03:03
Gag Halfrunt ![]() | Incidentally, the upcoming live action remake (filmed in China and Argentina) will have a Peugeot 404. ![]() http://community.livejournal.com/jeonjihyun/244231.html#cutid1 I imagine that the scene with the 404 was probably filmed in Argentina. Come to think of it, there are probably enough cars in those photos to start an entry for the film if anyone wants to. The IMDB page is at http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt0806027/ |

nzmax ![]() | S4 series Gloria, as per pic, was released in Japan in November 1963. Also available with 3-speed or 3+overdrive manual transmission also. The New Zealand Prince Distributors also did a run of floor shift manual cars. This shape Gloria was made until April 1967, when the A30 series Nissan Gloria was released. |

Jun ![]() | Thanks And I also learning & enjoying to see many many cars here. (thanks for IMCDb )Especially, postwar europian buses/commercial vehicle are attractive ![]() |

bref ![]() | All the car of the film are similar but not exact replica. Anyway the Honda Life was miles away from the car film | 2006-09-25 20:15
antp ![]() | The line on the hood is not at the same level than the line on the side; onm the Datsun Cablight it is at same level. Though this detail is maybe not important. | 2006-09-25 20:11
bref ![]() | Wow Jun, you always amazed me I feel really at ease with Honda cars, but for the rest of japanese production, I'm still learning... |
2006-09-25 19:59 | ||

bref ![]() | You are right, a Toyota Publica UP10 http://www.owens-export.com/stuff/dcp02648.jpg In the same film there is a supposed Honda Life, which is not. I'm still searching |
2006-09-24 19:30 | ||
datsunZ ![]() | Sure that isn't,meanwhile,a Toyota 800-1000 of 1961-1966(known as Publica in Japan)?I recall these Trabi-alike cars had a rib on sides that runs by rocker panel and swept up across back fenders(just as visible in the drawing) Hino Contessa 900 recalls in shape a sort of Renault Dauphine and had 4-doors,not 2;in plus,its sports also,like Dauphines(for the old parenthood thru Hino and Renault cars),engine air intakes just forward back fenders lower part('cause engine was at back)and front end appear stylized as a bad copy of VW Type 3,with 2 fake grilles,one on each side of front end |

IRT_BMT_IND ![]() | http://specs.amayama.com/toyota/crown/1962_0/photo/2634/ 1962 Toyota Crown. Look at the slight differences between it and the 1964 model. The '62 has a vertical badge on the front grill like this screencap, but the '64 has a horizontal badge. (And remember, it is animated, so it may not look exactly like the real car) |
2006-05-15 03:46 | ||
IRT_BMT_IND ![]() | I'm pretty sure thats a Honda Life. I drove one in Gran Turismo 4 and it looks EXACTLY like that. | 2006-05-15 03:37

Hecubus ![]() | Apart from being what looks like a car based ambulance, I don't think it looks anything like ECTO-1. I'm guessing it's based on a 60's Japanese car, but offhand, I don't know much about them. | 2006-05-11 10:15
