marioman3138 ![]() | Could also be a Belmont maybe? I don't remember where chrome is meant to be either way. | 2020-11-13 01:55
AleX_DJ ![]() | Seems that NAMCO of Greece was dealing with Neckar in early 1960s for the project of a three-wheeler, which didn't materialize. It might be that the deal included the import of Neckar branded cars in Greece ![]() Anyway, in 1967 Neckar was 7th brand in Greek sales chart, while Fiat was market leader https://bestsellingcarsblog.com/1980/01/greece-1965-1969/ |

dsl ![]() | Does anyone have info on how/why Neckars were sold in Greece?? This film for instance has Neckar version of 850 (Adria) alongside normal Fiat 850 and 850 Special. So were Fiat and Neckar fighting each other here?? Did they do same anywhere else?? I'd guess Fiat licencing contract would normally prohibit rivalry, so what went wrong?? | 2020-11-13 00:50

Raul1983 ![]() | Interesting to see a Holden in Europe. I understand Greece was kind of a testing zone for many brands who were thinking of entering European markets. Some of the first Japanese cars in Europe were sold in Greece. | 2020-11-12 08:54 |
