Baube  | i think its one of the longest ( if not the longest ) merging i've ever seen on imcdb ...  as for electric cars , most of the buyers do drive mostly in the city area but charging stations are now getting installed pretty much everywhere along the way so you can go between some cities ( and not all of them are more than 250 miles from each other .. .gif ";)") )A lot of them also use an electric vehicle as second car ( or the opposite, they get a gas-powered vehicle , or already own one , for longer travelling ) A long long time ago , when the first Lexus LX ( called LX450 back then ) was launched here, me and some friends went to the Montréal International Auto Show . One of the Lexus salesman ( or employee ) heared me saying that it was just a Toyota Land Cruiser set up with a Lexus badge, a few luxury bits added and a price tag of nearly 20,000 $ more than a Land Cruiser and didn't looked very happy about my theory ... |

They really didn’t spend much time on that design, did they? It seems to underscore the continuing cynicism of the motor industry, “put an upmarket badge and a few chrome gew-gaws on it and up the price by 50%”. On the other hand, certain manufacturers must be struggling with the move to electric, and it would be interesting to hear from our American, and Australian respondents how a range of 250 miles before it goes flat and stops matches their huge distances between cities, or is it only urban dwellers who buy electrics? -- Last edit: 2021-09-10 09:31:03 |
