rtsbusman1997 a écrit Both the Beretta and Corsica were sold in Europe (and fairly well from what I heard).

Yes, they were not uncommon in Belgium and Netherlands, at least.
But now that I think about it, it has been a long time since I saw one. I remember that at the beginning of IMCDb (10 years ago!) I was still seeing these models from time to time in the streets.

Baube QCi like them too
but i have a little extra liking for the 1994-1996 Beretta Z26, 1989-1990 Corsica LTZ and 1989-1991 Corsica hatchback

I've always hard a heart for both versions, mainly because they never changed very much during their entire 1987-1996 run.

Gamer a écrit Never knew these were sold in Europe, as the Beretta! :wow:

Now I want one.

Beretta was the 2-door version. If I recall, GM was sued by the gun manufacturer over the name.

The Corsica was the first car selected for "Meh Mondays" at Jalopnik yesterday, a salute to mediocrity:

58Roadmaster a écrit Very odd center panel. I assume its window does function?

As to my knowledge it does.

Update: No, it doesn't. There are rumours about W124-Boonacker Limousines with retractable windows in the center doors but all existing cars to be known do not have this feature (Information given by a former Boonacker employee).

Alexander DEIt is an ex-army version. See the roof-hatch and the round canvas top.

As we already have a VW Iltis I guess this truck came from the same supplier selling or hireing out such vehicles, quite likely ex-Bundeswehr. The name and model would therefore be Magirus-Deutz 168 M 11 FL, 4x2 5t tmil (1980-87).

Alexander DEThanks for the extra picture, though it didn't really help as the logo is missing. Still I have learned that the Bombardier should have side indicators, which this one hasn't. Therefore we keep Volkswagen Iltis.
