cody6268 ![]() | This could be a Kew, England produced one, given that the fire truck is European. Problem is, the front mounted pump hides the center of the grille, which has the "Kew" on it. -- Last edit: 2015-01-12 02:25:14 |

Ddey65 ![]() | 1961-64. That's the early-1960's. | 2012-06-10 22:07
ingo ![]() | Probably re-imported, when the $-rate was low. The plate is a pre-1971 Belgian one. But this means nothing about the car, as the plates are -were, to be precise- registrated on the owner, not the car. So often you can see cars with plates, decades older than the car itself. |
2012-06-06 19:34 | ||
ingo ![]() | Nein, nur wenn er die Luftfederung hat. ![]() |
2012-06-06 19:31 | ||

comodo0 ![]() | No, r50 or 60. Police did not have r69s, this one is a civilian disgised in police motorbike, in a clumsy way though because it has the dual seat from civilian bikes. | 2010-08-05 22:44
electra225 ![]() | Interiors were a bit modified in the autumn of 1968. | 2010-01-02 19:45
DynaMike ![]() | Right you are, Maicocpa, and welcome to the site! I hadn't thought about the bumper. Here's a 1955 ad for the ambulance: http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/lit/55ambulance/cover.jpg I think we could say this is a 'made for B' version, by the rear indicator lights. |
2010-01-01 23:16 | ||
maicocpa ![]() | Since it has a rear bumper we know it's not 1952. Rear bumpers became available mid-1953. It's likely a mid-1955 to mid 1958 model. The barndoor-era trucks and ambulances had different engine lid hinges | 2010-01-01 23:03

Weasel1984 ![]() | By the colors of the taillapms - orange-red-orange/red it is a 1962 1000 [311] or something newer. | 2009-05-13 17:37
handshifterAl ![]() | From these photos looks like late 1960s Harley-Davidson Electra Glides - FLH 1200. | 2009-01-24 12:32
