Gruszku PLJawa Mustang and the Ogar both have the same Jawa 223 engine, 2 stroke 49.6cm3 powerplant of 3.5HP - Jikov carburettor, 2 plate wet clutch, 3 step manual gearbox, hi-revving engine. This engine was originally used in Jawa typ 20 (introduced in the 60s), then in typ 23 and then mounted on polish Romet Ogar 200, slightly modified to smaller output of 2HP. One of the most powerful 49cm3 engines of its era. 2013-06-18 07:59

Weasel1984 PLThere have never been any import of used cars from Japan (well, some hobbyists perhaps imported "one or two").

Except the price and attractive standard equipment (especially in the 90s context) another important reason, why it was (and still is) USA and CDN, is also the huge Polish community in both these countries, what makes things more easy.
This way, through small companies from here and there, also the brand new cars are imported and not only "exotic" muscle cars (this happens everywhere), but even quite ordinary, like Dodge Sprinters (though this one was not very successful and disappeared from our market quickly).

cibup ESYes, I know, that's the reason I said made for USA, but AFAIK identify if it's from USA or Canada is impossible, so... 2012-04-28 01:41
Gag Halfrunt UKIn Poland, a car from the US or Canada would be more likely than one from Japan.
Zitat Quite a lot comparing to western and southern EU-countries. In 1990s we had many US/Canada imports because of high duty rates and freaky laws. Few years ago, when dollar was very cheap, import from America increased again.

cibup ESYes, sure, and it could be also from Japan with that plate holder...
So due the hardly recognizable let's leave it without oval unless someone could identify something.

Weasel1984 PLCustomized with the newer badge (bumpers etc). Most probably 1985+ FL, but I'm not 100% sure. Hole in the centre of front end fits to the pre-1985 older models though (if is original).
