dsl ![]() | 1974+ for headrests .... probably. | 2013-11-03 00:41
G-MANN ![]() | But with many of them you can't see much anyway, even if you watch the film they're in (if I hadn't seen the interior I wouldn't be so sure) Also "these days" is the operative term, the ones in things like Howard's Way are more likely to be original because they weren't that old at the time. I think if it doesn't seem obviously bastardized it's OK to name it as a Turbo R or whatever based on what you can see. -- Last edit: 2013-06-15 19:26:34 |

Sandie ![]() | It makes me wonder how many of the others are correctly listed considering how frequently you see them these days in such non-factory condition. | 2013-06-15 19:06
G-MANN ![]() | Found this film on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-TjH9Oq3aQ Appears between 12:15 and 15:00 This has dual single exhausts, so it's not a Turbo R or Mulsanne Turbo, and it has the original dashboard design with the digital display (the Eight didn't have this), so it's a 1980-84 Mulsanne that's been tarted up a bit (vinyl roof, new headlights, grille, badges, alloys and steering wheel) The character who owns it definitely seems like a gangster. -- Last edit: 2013-06-15 18:46:04 |

G-MANN ![]() | Changing back to unknown because this is not a 1997, it has doesn't have the right bumper or wing mirrors. -- Last edit: 2013-06-13 12:05:02 |
2013-06-13 12:04 | ||
G-MANN ![]() | No, it's older than that (it hasn't got the redesigned wing mirrors) | 2013-05-21 14:31
dsl ![]() | 1997 Brooklands R? http://www.rrab.com/bbrookr.htm#top | 2013-05-14 00:25
Sandie ![]() | My preference was for it to stay as unknown when I commented. I hadn't noticed it had been listed as Mulsanne. I think you are right about the grill, too so god knows which one it actually is. -- Last edit: 2013-05-13 18:45:25 |

G-MANN ![]() | Though there may be some telltale feature we've missed, if there's nothing that proves it isn't a Turbo R, why not list it as one? This film is from 2012 so a Turbo R of that vintage would be an old car anyway and probably not hard/expensive to get hold of. Although, is that a mesh grille? If so it's definitely been customised. -- Last edit: 2013-05-13 18:33:37 |

bref ![]() | 80's Spider had different hood, Pininfarina badge, exterior mirror in the quarter window, maroon sunblind, black wiper, black steering wing, so yes, could be a 80's spider with older hood, black earlier sunblind, earlier wooden steering wheel, earlier...I'm still for 1974 Spider with a white interior | 2013-05-12 22:22
Motor Writer ![]() | Series 2A or III. Looks like it has the safari roof on. Might be an 88" by the clarity of the rear windows from the front view... | 2013-05-08 23:07

ingo ![]() | No 245 as it's a Sedan. | 2013-05-08 21:07
ingo ![]() | Well, these goodies are wooden steering wheel, chrome-wipers and mirrors, means nothing. It's very popular -up to ridicoulous- to pimp with such stuff a classic car into a "real classic", so looking older, than it is. So I'm still for a 80ies 12 Spider. |

rpcm ![]() | The visible details including this grille and the absence of sill trim identify a 1972+ Super (a 1.3 version). | 2013-05-08 19:26
Weasel1984 ![]() | TAM. IMO of the 190 T or 230 T range. It seems that 190 had two axles and 230 3, but it is only my guess... Cabine introduced in 1981 (made since 1983), this is a later version however, due to the black fairings. Edit: there was such truck with removable container based on the 130 and called 130 T11 B-SS, but the one here is for sure a more heavy than 130. As 260s indeed had 3 axles, I opt for the "190 T15 B" (possibly also called "SS" in this version - judging by their other models). -- Last edit: 2013-05-09 12:01:09 |

Weasel1984 ![]() | GTL or there was some another versions with these side protectors in Italy? IIRC one Italian member (maybe Electra) mentioned something like that once? Edit: I see the filming locations - so it can be also a Yugoslav/Slovenian model. -- Last edit: 2013-05-08 18:25:29 |

Weasel1984 ![]() | 1977+ 900 T Edit: I see now - it was filmed also in the Slovenia, then it most possibly it is "Zastava 435 K", 850 AK or maybe even 900 AK. The chromed metal bumper in such shape had to be typical only for the Zastava version anyway. EDIT 2: In fact it doesn't have to be "K", as there were also windowed fourgons: Link to "forum.cdm.me" -- Last edit: 2018-12-19 22:16:06 |

Sandie ![]() | Headlamp wipers (which this has) were removed for 1985 but the number plate location changed in 1986. So either the bumper or the headlights have been replaced. | 2013-05-08 15:35
Sandie ![]() | 1987-early 89 (facelift grill but visible door hinges). 3.5 V8 engine was replaced with a 3.9 V8 version for 1990. Front bumper has been replaced with one from a 1990+ model at some point. | 2013-05-08 15:29
Sandie ![]() | Quad lights, body coloured radiator shell and alloys suggest 1989+ Turbo R but all of these elements are frequently changed so it might be another model or older. | 2013-05-08 15:19
bref ![]() | Color and interior tend to say 80's, but Vitaloni Sebring mirror, small power bulge, wooden steering wheel, chromed wipers say 1971+ 1600cc. Spider were not sold in Europe between 1974 and 1981. | 2013-05-08 15:07
