mitto UKSorrt Garco, it's not a ZIL, look at the door windows and angle of windscreen. Also on the Zil 130, the bars on the front grill are horizontal not Vertical.

Mitto.

Carabineros de Chile used Opala since 1982 to 1992. Then, used Chevrolet Monza and Chevrolet Astra (made in Brazil all there)

Rodrally is wrong...

Although it is true that Chevrolet Opala was constructed based on the OPEL REKORD C, the Opala is clearly Brazilian, created for the Brazilian and Latin-American market (as the Chilean or the Uruguayan one). The flag of Brazil must remain there. The Opala is Brazilian

antp BE"Made for US" is for the car, not for where the movie is made :D This one seems to be US-spec (side lights, maybe some other details). Maybe it was imported from USA to Ecuador (or that the Golf that they sell there are the same as those made in/for USA). 2007-04-28 21:49

Who says it is?

Toyota says it like that. Thay refer to the various Land Cruisers as "80-series" for the J80, "90-series" for the J90, "100-series" for the J100, etc.

I mean, would they call it a "100-series" if the code was J10 ?

Here's an interesting link.

Neptune USThe Land Cruiser like I have (which is the same thing as in the picture above) is considered the UZJ100w version. The Diesel Land Cruisers’ are know as the HDJ101k versions. I don’t know if this helps, some of you probably already knew that anyway… 2006-11-13 15:52

Didn't Exiv96 say that it was a common practise?
But as I said I do not know anything to these so I let others decide for this case

I own a Land Cruiser, but I couldn’t care less if chassis codes were included in
the identification. That would be the last thing on my mind. I mean they would be precise, but wouldn’t that be a little to much work to have to incorporate all chassis codes?
