Gongora ![]() | Lateef is right. Is a Prince AISH, not a Toyopet | 2020-05-24 06:04
Lateef ![]() | Never occurred to me before how similar the rear design is to the Prince AISH - possible industrial espionage / inspiration? Otherwise they look nothing alike. | 2019-02-22 10:24

DidierF ![]() | But we heard recently /vehicle_834363-Isuzu-TX-1950.html#Comment1816117 that the 4x2 front bonnet layout was of 1954, which reduces now; it's a 50+ (the 47 didn't have this er… form). (Trucks and buses usually share the same face, in Japan, when made by a same builder, at least Isuzu and Fuso, in the 50s.) (Mom, see how knowledgeable I became!) -- Last edit: 2015-08-26 00:15:10 |

eLMeR ![]() | Made indeed at least from mid 1950s to early 1960s: ![]() I don't mean that this one is a 1954 model: this brochure is just the oldest I found for now with this cab. The 1958 documents show the same model, and the 1963 literature displays a new cab. (En gros, c'est de la datation à la très grosse louche, pour ne pas dire à la pelleteuse ) -- Last edit: 2015-08-25 23:10:37 |

130rapid ![]() | I excluded 4-door Ohta also. And good point about rear window. I think they could changed it for 1954, but can't find a proof. | 2015-08-05 22:38

Railways buff, this one is for you. For trains are very present here, though not instrumental in the action. It seems they are on the screen for the sake of themselves and their great cinematographic value. But there is also a story, a good crime story, seen from the eyes of one detective there to find then arrest a man. It is slow when needed, fast when the story asks for it, generally very well acted, and wonderfully cinematographed. Nomura trusts his actors, obviously. The old cop is played by Seiji Miyaguchi: ![]() Do you remember this austere face? He is one of the most fascinating characters in the most famous of Kurosawa's movies. -- Last edit: 2015-08-04 16:31:39 |
