dsl SXSimple trim, but side moulding and headrests so not poverty level. 120 A seems a good solution. 2023-06-24 23:11
dsl SXIf this is Europe, normal 81+ L. If it's Argentina, there's no Escort Mk3 builds listed, but Brazil did them from July 83 (with unique engines derived originally from Renault 12 via the Ford Corcel) and apparently exported to Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway from 1983-86 as the Escort LX. So I'd guess Brazil supplied Argentina as well. 2023-06-24 23:07
dsl SX1974+ for Argentina - has shiny bits and vinyl but not enough for GXL. 2023-06-24 22:06
Stons USApart from the ford escort and the fiat ritmo, it was because in a part of the film it was recorded in Italy, that's why I put the model that originated in that country. 2023-06-24 21:57
Stons US@lateef: I suppose because it must be due to the quality of the film, the datsun thing looked blurry, I thought it was a Hyundai pony because they shared the same design and that both were marketed in the country in the 80s, apart from that I put the names so that later you can recognize the models because I don't want to leave the article empty. 2023-06-24 21:50
Exiv96 BEThose export "1*0A" badges did exist, with five to choose from.

night cub USThere is one listed on Mercado Libre right now under the "120 A" name, but the car has no badges. Still looking for more.

Found another site called Evisos, that has several of them listed as "120 A" and one listed as "1200". Badges still can't be seen:

https://www.evisos.com.ar/q/autos/datsun

Found a few more on Autos.com.ar. One has a badge showing, but the pic is too small and when blown up is unreadable:

http://www.autos.com.ar/datsun-M110

I did come across a Chile Datsun FB group and they have them listed as Pulsar 120A or 130A. But that's the next country over.

zodiac SEHow about IKA-Renault Torino https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IKA-Renault_Torino ? 2023-06-22 10:28
night cub USDefinitely a Datsun and not a Hyundai, as Lateef pointed out. I think because the ratio was off originally, it looked longer.

night cub USWas entered as 1976 Renault, but not sure if that is right or if this is an older IKA version 2023-06-22 09:08
Lateef NO@stons: please do not guess the years unless you are 100% sure of them. We use first possible years, not random years. I can tell right away that the Fiat Ritmo, the Ford Taunus and the Ford Falcon are older than you make them to be. Also, what you have listed as 'coupés' are all hatchbacks. Coupés are always 2-doors. I also don't think the star rating for the 'Hyundai Pony' (actually a Datsun Cherry) is correct. If it's used a lot it's usually 4 stars and if not then 3 or 2 stars will suffice. 5 stars are for cars where the plot is almost exclusively dependant on the car in question - like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, or less used but very famous examples - take Bond's Aston Martin in Goldfinger.

Also, go easy on the 'made for'-tags as these are only applied if there are visible or name-related differences compared to the original market.
