chicomarx ![]() | I still think about Lake Palmer from the Thai Brides episode. Former army guy, utterly desperate, uncontrollable anger just beneath the surface. Sadly his bride did not remain long. "For Lake, the marriage did not last. Jad, it transpired, was already married to a Belgian man. After divesting Lake of his life savings, she moved on. But all was not lost. Lake eventually did find love with Elsa, a lady from the Philippines. They married and remained so until her death in 2016." https://www.facebook.com/letsgetdowntoitbaby/ |

dhill_cb7 ![]() | Or F-100. Has smaller hubs so the two higher weight classes are negated. From this angle I'm not sure how you can negate F-100. Best to label F-Series. |

Terra ![]() | This isn't a Trans Sport due to the lack of "TRANS SPORT" on the driver door. This is just a Montana. 1999+ | 2019-04-28 01:56
Gamer ![]() | 4J suffix, so 99 or 00. As it's after this one: /vehicle.php?id=143810 I would guess 00? But I don't know if CA plates are numbered out of order. 99 for now. | 2018-08-19 21:28
FilmCarViewer ![]() | I agree. 1999-2000 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport. 1999 introduced the rear spoiler, rear bumper scuff pad, and a restyled bumper with a longer mesh grille and round fog light housings. It's also a Sport because of the badging on the driver and passenger front doors. |

stevil101 ![]() | As a matter of fact, it does. It appears to be a 1992 or newer model. I'm sorry, I forgot about the dashboard. -- Last edit: 2018-01-05 00:29:31 |

stevil101 ![]() | 1989 was the first year for the extended length models. However, I'm guessing it's probably a newer model from 1992 or later. I can definitely be wrong about this, but doesn't this color also make it newer than 1989? | 2018-01-01 22:43
G-MANN ![]() | I hadn't seen your comment but I'll answer it now - this was added well before non-admins could add contributions onto the site (they had to post the pictures onto the forum and admins had to make the pages) and we didn't have so many non-fiction things being added, so there were less restrictions (as long as cars were well visible or somehow related to the program) -- Last edit: 2014-04-22 12:05:59 |

G-MANN ![]() | I agree. Is that all you're going to add, bgp1? Are you not going to add the cars that were actually used in that episode? (looked like the Demolition Derby one) -- Last edit: 2013-07-26 18:04:50 |

G-MANN ![]() | There's videos of the episodes missing from the DVDs on Youtube and sites like Veoh. But quality isn't that good (videos look like they've been taped off TV anyway). Would I be likely to get better quality downloading from a torrents site? Does downloading Youtube videos make them any better? | 2011-08-24 15:28
G-MANN ![]() | That's separate from this series. I only added some of the Weird Weekends episodes because only half of them of them were released on DVD, although now you can watch just about all of them on various video sites (including Youtube). I may add some more, particularly the Demolition Derby one. He was a Neo-Nazi, not a gun nut. Hilarious scene though. -- Last edit: 2011-07-23 15:49:56 |

Neptune ![]() | 1999-2002 model 1999, 2000 and some 2001 model had the center differential lock, but Land-Rover deliberately removed the shift linkage needed to lock it. Thus the center differential operated permanently in "open" (unlocked) form. Unfortunately, that meant if one or more drive-wheels lost traction the center torque distribution could be easily disturbed. 4-wheel electronic traction control was introduced to help correct the said issue, but was no substitute for being able to lock the torque distribution. 2002-2003 models saw the neutered locking mechanism completely removed, leaving just the open center differential. |

Maltelec ![]() | I can confirm this is a 2b Land Rover. The 2a version has the headlights 1/2 way up the front grille. These things are awful to drive. I know, I have one. |
2010-09-19 00:30 | ||
marklandynut ![]() | This is a Land Rover 110" Series 2B and the only thing is has in common with the later military 101 is where the driver sits! This vehicle was based around a 109" Series 2A Land Rover whereas the 101 has more in common with an early Range Rover. The 2B FC was built between 1967 and 1973. If it was a home market model the protruding headlights would make it a 1969 or later model, but as it was probably built locally in South Africa it is possible these headlights were used on earlier models. |

rjluna2 ![]() | I think this is more like 1980/81 due that the name exist until 1982/86 where they switched to different trim level name. | 2009-08-02 19:25
FJ78 ![]() | This generation was 1997-2000, not 1997-1999. The Olds Alero and Jeep Grand Cherokee date the show to at least 1999 (both were made 1999-2004). | 2009-03-20 21:02
G-MANN ![]() | Master P is a very rich man, so I doubt this is just a Caprice dressed up as an Impala SS. | 2008-06-03 16:54
G-MANN ![]() | Well this is the DeVille Concours, the sportier version (with a more powerful engine) rather than the standard DeVille. Instead of having a hood ornament, it has the badge in the centre of the grille. When the last generation DeVille was launched in 2000, the DTS (DeVille Touring Sedan) replaced the Concours as the sporty version. | 2008-04-20 20:41

Weasel1984 ![]() | The "Tuk Tuk" can be also an official name (though not in this case, because this series was made between 1998-2000). The producer of such vehicles in Thailand was known since 1987 as Pholasith and later in 2002 has been renamed to TUK TUK Forwarder. http://www.thailandtuktuk.net/index.htm http://www.thailandtuktuk.net/thailand-tuktuk-550-sd.htm So we have here a Pholasith or... something older. Unfortunately I don't have any info about the pre 1987 period and as we can see on this pic from 1985/86 -> /vehicle.php?id=154770 this model was known also before. -- Last edit: 2008-04-09 18:19:16 |

carchasesfanatic ![]() | I love it when they have the rear wheel half covered, dont ask me why, as you say also on the Caprice it looks nice, well sometimes is not as hidden, i like how it looked in the old Omega as well (Opel not Oldsmobile ) |
2008-04-09 18:14 | ||
antp ![]() | I also find it beautiful, I like these late 80s/early 90s Cadillac. And as you said, that covered real wheel is nice, like some other models of that era (Caprice, Deville, there is also some Oldsmobile models with that). Though that for the color, I would prefer it a darker one. -- Last edit: 2008-04-09 18:08:58 |
