Alexander DEIt is a Mercedes-Benz Unimog U 65 [406] (1963), as far as I can see.

The [416] code is used for the long wheelbase version (2900mm).
The 'Unimog U 1100' name was introduced in 1974, but only as 'Unimog U 1100/L' with 'L' denoting the long wheelbase version.

Adrian USThe hoods are different. The background car is the early E12, `72-`75. The vents on hood are in center vs. two on sides. 2007-03-20 19:40
Adrian USThe E12 in the foreground is a `76-`81. Not sure about the other. It\'s definetly an E12, but can\'t tell if it\'s the earlier or later one (grille, and hood are partially blocked). 2007-03-20 19:37

Ralph DEGerman movie maker (Directed, writing, producer) don't love cars. :(
So the most of german movies are without (typical) cars.
(Only) by the 'Tatorts' we see all the typical vihicles on typical german roads and streets.

Gag Halfrunt UKTatort has been running since 1970, and I presume that, because the series is divided into sub-series made in various different cities, multiple episodes can be filmed at the same time.
