ingo DEOh, so Mercedes Benz had the same problem as Volkswagen. For many years, up to the late 70ies, they weren't able to offer high-quality-metallic paintings, too.
Surely a problem of the paint-company. No car-company produces own paintings and other chemicals.

cl82 DE:think: Wow, that is a difficult question. All I know is that MB had problems making durable metallic paintjobs even in the days of the W116 and W123, so more than 20 years later. There was even a time in 1977/78 or so when dealers were forbidden to order more than 15% of the cars with metallic-paint due to both capacity and quality problems. 2011-03-09 08:35

Lateef NOHmm... remember ages ago I read an article about the Thames in Norway, saying it was first sold in 1960 as Ford Thames. The combination xx-xx-xx was used between 1958 and 1970 for vehicles registered in Oslo, so it can be both a Thames and a Ford Thames. 2011-01-01 20:09
Lateef NOHøyst interessant! :) Tusen takk for linken! 2011-01-01 15:43

Bø-Viks NOIts Volvo but Im not sure its VBK bodywork it could be, but it could also be Bjarne Berg, look at the badge in the front the grill and headlight. (Eg vil ikke bruke utrykket Bankers igjen, tror bare du skjønte det da. Hvor er dnne film sekvensen fra Bergs busser var vanligst på Nord Møre og Trøndelag)

Lateef NOIt's because of what I said about this movie: it's a very odd movie. For the last 20 minutes the movie is in colour for some odd reason. It might be like that because the main character has a dream, and these scenes in colour let the viewer know what's real and what's not. 2010-12-30 11:24
karoomay SYHow come this shot is in color and the rest is in black & white? :??: 2010-12-30 10:26

If a 1968-model, there is no "Audi" remarked in the papers and the production-badge. :p
