DIEHARD NLand in Holland aswell. My personal opinion are that these are to small changes to indicated the as "made for". I highly doubt that the front fender indicators are factory produced. Most likely they would have been fitted by distributers for local markets. If so then what is the difference between aftermarket accesory and tiny modifications due to local legislation? 2011-05-12 13:28

ddgonzal USYes, Datsun 1200 2-door sedan circa 1972 model. Movie was apparently filmed in Norway in 1982. 2011-04-02 02:32
Lateef NO@ingo: It's interesting that there were that few sold in Norway. I thought there were much more of them  but compared to the Ro 80, which only sold 36 examples, it's really quite a solid number :) What I do know about the K70, was that it was big publicity around it when it first arrived here in the early 1970s, I've seen quite a few K70 advertisements from old newspapers.

Yes for all models from brand launch in 74 to at least 82 - change to Mitsubishi was I think mid-80s.

ingo DE@Lateef: Link to "pub31.bravenet.com" ;) Maybe the webmaster knows more about the still existing cars. I'll also ask the other Kjell-Arne (there are two Norwegian K 70-owners with this name :) ), the guy, who send me the manuals.
I'm still wondering, if a real perfect 1971' goldmetallic car has survived, which was offered for sale in the early 90ies, a first-hand-car with 30.000 km, which never had seen rain and snow. :??:

And marital-crisises, caused by too much bragging/spending time with K 70, aren't really unknown. The percentage of concerned freaks is about 80-90%

Lateef NOIngo, there's something I've been wanting to know, and that is excactly how many K70s were sold in Norway and how many are left? I know about 3 K70s in Norway still existing today of which 2 are imports from Sweden. I've also recently heard a funny story from my father about a K70 ... a girl he knew dumped her boyfriend because he was bragging too much about his new K70 in Mayametallic :p 2011-02-14 10:33

ingo DEYes, I remember them from my childhood too. And there were also some for the extra vents of the 1302 and 1303 (or the identical ones, where you have turned the clamps).
We never had them http://img842.imageshack.us/i/img3559i.jpg/ for the reason, that noone of my family was ever interested in wintersport.

Bø-Viks NOIt was very common to respray those grills to make them look newer (also BMW 1500, 1600 grills was very often resprayed) at least in Norway it was so during late 70s and 80s. 2011-02-13 13:43
Bø-Viks NOAlmost certain its a Sunbeam 1500 or 1600 (This model of Hillman was extremely rare in Norway) 2011-02-13 13:35
DynaMike NLI'd say the Ford is rather a 12M: teardrop shaped taillights, whereas the 15M had ractangular ones. 2011-02-13 13:35
DynaMike NLActually the indicator is rather French; the Belgian versions had front and rear indicators since 1962, and only a small parking light on the C-pillar. I think this is a French built 1966-1969 AZL (3 side windows with no chrome trim, white dashboard) with unoriginal paint and bumpers of a 1966/67 AZAM. Also the door handles seem to be from a (1967?) AZAM. Were those mudflaps behind the rear wheels maandatory in Norway (so: 'Made for N')? 2011-02-13 13:31
ingo DEHmm, it seems, that there is not even a hidden one. I've checked all the uploaded pics for such details ;)
P.S. Yesterday there was a Norwegian newcomer in my collection. An 1974' Instruktsjonsbok :)
