marklandynut UKActaully, to be strictly correct its a British Leyland Mini. The tiny badge on the front is the BL badge making this a Mark 2 by which time the Austin and Morris badges had been dropped on these cars. The Mini would have been built between 1967 and 1972 (the year of the film). 2010-05-06 02:08

chris40 UKI think typhlosion's right: it has the more rounded radiator, the '30s and '31s had a slimmer one. The wheels seem to belong to a more recent Ford, a Model B or a '35 V8. 2010-04-08 20:56
typhlosion USexcept this ain't no 31! its a either a 28 or 29!!! 2010-04-08 20:11
130rapid PLYES! All fits perfect. Side strip, windows shape, taillights, whitewalls even.
So, 1971 Daihatsu 1000 Station Wagon. In true it's a bit facelifted Compagno. :P

Commander 57 US1970 can be eliminated as there was no 4-door version until the '71 model year. 2010-04-07 19:11

130rapid PL1965 was first MY with those overriders.
It could be [WP410], although in 1965 MY [WP411] is possible too but we don't know what engine hides under boonet. 1.2-litre (WP410) or 1.3-litre (WP411).

All Datsun wagons (excluding some Prince adopted models) should have first lettter "W" (Wagon) in destination.
