130rapid PLThe picture is blurry, however...
The tail lights are larger (180 a or 190).
The bootlid badge is on left side of plate. That was usual position on 1956-1958 190 samples.
I'd say there's shade of quarter window on front door.

nicoicon FRThis is a chopper as we liked to do in the 1970's! Not only Harley-Davidson but also in kawasaki, or, as here on a Triumph!

Sure, the engine is a Triumph, this is a unique preparation, the engine is very similar to a 750cc Triumph T140 but there would be an anachronism knowing that this model was released in 1981 (the engine seems like the 1981 model), while Claude François died in 1978! Otherwise, it would be the model of 1974 would make more sense to be in agreement with the film.

So here: TRIUMPH T140 750cc (1974 or 1981)

Here are some picss for recognize the engine:

electra225 ITIt has got a lot of parts of the 500 L, not only the bumpers but chromed windows frames, black steering wheel and the colour is a '68. The rest of the interior is 500 F.
As the colour is a common factor, even if likely not original I suggest to indicate 1968 as the year.

dsl SXI think the grille is simpler N360??? 2012-09-08 00:47
rpcm PTThese rear lights combined with what is possible to understand of the right scripts and this 2nd type of bumper and overriders make me think it's a 1969+ 1300 TI. 2012-09-08 00:35
rpcm PTAlthough it has a lot of chrome trim (bumpers included) that don't belong to it, the 200 badge makes sense with these rear lights. So, 1966+ 200 [W110]. 2012-09-08 00:27
dsl SXDefinitely a 3 Litre P5 (not 3.5 P5B). I think saloon with small grille badge so 59+ Mk1 or 62+ Mk2, not a Mk3 with bigger grille badge. Coupe was only Mk2 onwards. If it has quarterlights, = Sept 61 onwards. 2012-09-08 00:26
rpcm PTWith the help of the thumbnail (and being a taxi) since it has the chrome trim below the side windows I would say it's a 190 D [W121] introduced in August 1958. 2012-09-08 00:23
929V6 NLN600, not a hatchback. 2012-09-08 00:21
