Max_Power USLooks like the GM C-platform which wouldn't rule out an 85-90 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight. 2013-05-24 18:28
sevel CLThis is a Cadillac Sedan DeVille 2013-04-04 14:53
sevel CLAgain. This is a 70-80's Austin Mini with a aftermarket bodykit. In Chile, we had Austin Minis until 80's 2013-03-01 17:01
sevel CLThe picture was not clear, but if you have the possibility to watch the movie, you can see this car and it is a 1988 Volkswagen Santana B2 2013-02-28 00:30
sevel CLThis is a 1970's Argentinian Mercedes Benz LO-1114. The body is El Detalle "Pinina", also Argentinian.

However, the grill was replaced by 1980's Brazilian Mercedes Benz.

sevel CLExactly. Moreover, this Charade was known here as "Charade G20" 2013-02-27 04:24
Weasel1984 PL1981 facelift. In Chile since 1982? 2013-02-26 13:07
Weasel1984 PLIt is 1969+ S or 1971+ S(pecial) - 124B. A bit hard to say what bumper this one has with this pic, especially that 2nd series cars assembled in Chile had different bumpers than Italian cars. 2013-02-26 13:04
sevel CLIn Chile, this 4x4 vehicle is called "Daihatsu LF-20". This is the reason of the name of this car 2013-02-26 05:57

sevel wrote Probably there is the same car, but in different uses. Remember that the context of the film is in 1988 and was recorded in 2012

jplemoine FRMhouais... On dirait plutôt une quatre cylindres... 2013-02-25 11:09
rjluna2 USI would definitely rule out the GM N-platform body  2013-02-24 22:03
cl82 DEI may be wrong, but it say it's a bit "beefier" than a G3, maybe a KZ 750 like http://classic-motorbikes.net/images/gallery/kawaskaki-kz750.jpg 2013-02-24 21:48
Citsa ZAI cannot get a clear picture, but it looks like a Unit Rig Electra Haul M100 or M120 2013-02-24 18:48
Citsa ZADefinitely a Unit Rig - not quite sure about the model yet. 2013-02-24 18:38
4x4peru USThe Jeep in the foreground appears to be a Willys CJ3A based on top bows and fuel filler. 2013-02-24 17:44
4x4peru USWillys M170 ambulance. One of very few listed on the site. 2013-02-24 17:41
4x4peru USYes Dodge M37. The side mounted spare is the later M37B1 series but I think the site calls them both "M37". 2013-02-24 17:40
sevel CLExactly. The results were surprisely amazing. 2013-02-24 16:21

dsl SXLocal Mini assembly stopped in 1973-4, and this one looks much later. Rover Mini imports from UK started 1992 which would look more likely here (Cooper grille and red/white combination, headrests) despite odd bonnet badge and small sidelights at this distance and no Cooper bonnet stripes. A pimped 60s plastic body car is possible but it looks as if it has roof guttering so I'm unconvinced. Story of Minis etc in Chile - http://www.aronline.co.uk/blogs/around-the-world/around-the-world-chile/ . 2013-02-24 14:05
Gag Halfrunt UKSet during the 1988 referendum in Chile on whether Augusto Pinochet should stay in office.

Director Pablo Larraín decided to use 1980s television cameras and record on U-Matic cassettes to recreate the look of Chilean television of the time and integrate original archive footage. For our purposes, this means that picture quality is poor and always will be. :)
