dhill_cb7 USShould have 'built in aus'. This was filmed in Australia. The other Australian models have 'made for aus'. To be unison with all the others listed I'll also add that label.

Edit: also, a 1979 model. 1978 Custom have circular head lamps.

Yes, all modern vehicles with RHD are fitted with windshield wipers facing to the passenger side on the left.

That and the vehicle has the new South Australia number plates.

jpts AUFilmed in the North-East of Western Australia.

This 2nd film was made for the tourists and backpackers to warn the dangers of hitchhiking or traveling through remote areas, especially in the Outback areas, as what to do if you and your friends are planning to hitchhike or go traveling into remote areas.

And had shown how the local police in the small remote towns deals with cases of the backpacking serial killers.

jpts AUMick Taylor doesn't mind killing coppers, in the "Wolf Creek Origins" novel, he murdered a couple of police officers who were investigating a series of murders of ranch workers that he worked with and killed.

After that, he enlisted in Australian Army for service in Vietnam.

The constable had his head blown off by Mick and the senior officer panicked.

Davez621 a écrit Not an "Omega" due to the alloy wheels and rear spoiler. Probably SV6 or SS.

The SV6 and SS had an anthracite headlining and leather seats.

[Image: holden-ve_commodore_sv6_2006_1024x768_wallpaper_0d.jpg]

The one in the film had cloth seats and a beige headlining and an slot between the air vents, which must be for the information display screen.

Then it becomes a Series I with the V6 engine and no curtain airbags when it crashes.

MisterZ AUIt's not a [HQ] due to the front end. Holden badge is centre of grille so it's either HJ or HX.

marioman3138 AUHowever, look at the badge on the fender. Thats the SeriesII badge. Maybe vinyl wrapped? 2014-04-24 09:30
MisterZ AUIt has black door handles - they were only available on series I. 2014-04-24 00:15
marioman3138 AULooks like a Series II badge, so its the later model. 2010 onwards. 2014-04-23 10:39
MisterZ AULooks like a non-standard bumper. I've never seen a Wrangler with a bumper like that here...

2012+ due to orange colour not becoming available until that year.

Confirmed: plate returns: 2012 "Sport". VIN: 1C4HJWGG0DL555265

It's interesting that they chose to destroy a brand-new vehicle in such a low budget film. They could have easily chosen an older vehicle to use for the scene.

ingo DESo a Down Under-spec Camper then? Made in AUS anyways. 2014-04-22 19:01
tore-40 NO1973+, but rather a Sopru conversion, based on a Kombi, verified by the 'Roo bar' 2014-04-22 18:27
MisterZ AUActually, this is a [AE94] due to having the 1.6L EFI engine. In Australia:

1.4L (carburetted) = AE90
1.6L (carburetted) = AE92
1.6L (fuel-injected) = AE94

This one is a CSi (mid-grade), due to the full width tail lights. Confirmed: plate says it's a 1992 CSi 1.6L EFI manual. VIN: 6T154AE9409543789
