reck961 ![]() | @Admin *Update to 2017* So I was doing some research for my dad on available rims on the W222 (He had a few over the years). I noticed that the rims on Pete's Mercedes were the '18" twin 5 - spoke' wheels that were redesigned for 2017. They look very similar to the '19" twin 5 - spoke' wheels, except in the 19 Inch wheels, the gaps in-between the individual spokes get narrower as it gets closer to the center. And in the 18 Inch the gaps get wider as it gets closer to the center. If you look at the front-wheel in the main image, you can see the gaps get wider, making this a an '18" twin 5 - spoke'. This also means that the vehicle crashed in 1.08 should get it's own page since it has the '19" AMG twin 5-spoke' wheels available on the Sport Package from 2014-17. 2014 Wheels - 2015 Wheels - 2016 Wheels - 2017 Wheels - ![]() |

reck961 ![]() | LOL. Thanks, but there was no real research involved. My parents are both massive Mercedes fans so I know there is no S-class (since I've been alive) that has a steering column ignition switch. Also, the cloth interior (if you zoom in at the bottom left of the main image) was a dead giveaway. But the steering wheel is definitely from a W222. |

reck961 ![]() | The keyed ignition on the steering column was how I figured out it couldn't be a real modern Mercedes. A+ effort though on productions behalf, they had the silver door pin, wood-grain steering wheel, chrome paddle shifters. Really well done. -- Last edit: 2023-05-08 00:29:49 |

Truck_Guy ![]() | Notice the large gap between the steering wheel and the actual column. Also, the keyed ignition. You can also see the triangular piece of trim near the a-pillar which doesn't line-up. | 2023-05-05 17:15
Jettalover ![]() | I'm getting Mercedes vibes by the manual door lock buttons, shape of headrest, and the splashes of chrome. Maybe the '14 S- Class that already has a page. | 2023-05-05 17:06

reck961 ![]() | FYI, the final scene of the season finale has one of the most bizarre crash sequences I have ever seen. He leaves rehab and stops for gas in the W222 S-class he's been driving all season. He tells Ray Ramano to go f*ck himself, then stops to plug in his phone, and we see the interior of a W223 S-Class. Then he listens to his messages in another vehicle dressed up to look like his Mercedes. Then we see him driving through the mountains in the W223 again Then he's in the interior of the unknown vehicle again Then he crashes a different W222 S-class. Then he comes to inside the cabin of a W221 S-class -Makes absolutely no sense. -- Last edit: 2023-05-05 04:26:09 |
