C_N66  | Hello, that one is actually a Swedish armored vehicle, built either by Scania (SKP) or Volvo (VKP) and used by the Swedish Army from 1944 to 2004 (they were built in 1942). They are called KP-bilar (Karosseri Pansar) (In English: Bodywork Armor). Some were also used during UN-missions. I believes that this one in "Generation War" is a SKP. | adrianblitz | "Unsere Mutter Unsere Vater" is a weak movie with plenty of substantive mistakes and setbacks of the production party. Errors can be seen at any time starting from scene when in the film (actor or narrator I do not remember )said about 3-meter snow - in the movie the ground is barely snowed. Another setback is pyrotechnics which were not responsive to the actual effects of the outbreak such as the scene with anti-personnel landmines. Mistakenly chosen many props (post-war barrels for fuel, bad painting of military equipment items, trying to play war Mercedes by Robur truck, and lots, lots details like those). A very serious mistake is showing Polish in a negative way, when it is they who in the course of the war probably saved the most Jews and they were very tolerant of Jewish, Gypsies and others nations persecuted by Germans. This situation is similar to blame the Poles for the German death camps that were only located in Poland. The Poles were not killing there! The Production to this day has not regulated charges for the rental of Polish heritage vehicles (not just from my collection), which is tantamount to an unlawful use of the image. Actually topic of the movie is good. We should have many such movies, but it should show the truth, not to falsify the history like it was for many years. „Unsere Mutters Unsere Vatters” to słaby film z wieloma błędami merytorycznymi jak i z wpadkami ze strony produkcji. Błędy można zobaczyć w każdej chwili filmu poczynając od sytuacji gdy w filmie jest mowa o 3 metrowym śniegu, - ledwo jest przyprószona ziemia, kolejna wpadka to efekty pirotechniczne nieodpowiadające faktycznym efektom wybuchu przykład scena z minami przeciwpiechotnymi. Błędnie dobrano wiele rekwizytów (powojenne beczki, złe malowanie elementów wyposażenia wojskowego, próba odtworzenia wojennej ciężarówki Mercedes samochodem Robur i wiele, wiele tego typu niedociągnięć). Bardzo poważnym błędem jest stawianie w negatywnym świetle polaków, kiedy to właśnie oni w trakcie wojny uratowali prawdopodobnie najwięcej Żydów i byli bardzo tolerancyjni wobec narodowości żydowskiej, cygańskiej i innych ludzi prześladowanych przez Niemców. To sytuacja podobna do obwiniania polaków za niemieckie obozy śmierci które tylko zlokalizowane były w Polsce, a przecież to nie Polacy tam zabijali! Produkcja do dnia dzisiejszego nie uregulowała należności za wynajem pojazdów zabytkowych z Polski (nie tylko z mojej kolekcji), co jest jednoznaczne z bezprawnym użyciem wizerunku. Ogólna tematyka filmu bardzo dobra, oby jak najwięcej takich filmów, ale należy pokazywać prawdę, a nie fałszować historię jak robiło się to latami. |

HmmmYeah  | Thank you very much for your welcome,andrepa.Yes,the vehicle seems to be either post-WW2 or a hastily/clumsily built replica.It's perhaps intended to represent Sd.Kfz. 247(my closest approximation),but the builder lacked expertise or resources(I don't think hey lacked finances though,this show had a hefty budget).About the Varga emblem,I can not but agree.Guess someone was not very original when designing my country's flag.  |
