993cc ![]() | Used in a street race scene but very few good shots of it. Described as a "935 Turbo" looks pretty standard apart from the BBS(?) wheels. -- Last edit: 2023-04-10 23:48:52 |

mykill ![]() | I can solve it for everyone. It was my cousin roomates truck, It is a 76' GMC Sierra it was a junk truck that the truck club rebuilt ,originally had a straight 6 and alot of rust no front clip or bed, after the body was customized the went to work on the aluminum interior and the engine is a 468 bigblock with a Wieand supercharger and doug nash 4+3 from a vette.the truck would do 165+ in 1/4 mile....the movie guys added NOS and changed out the rear for highway use,and the actor who drove it Dean Stockwell said it made the other actor piss himself. And yes it did blow the doors off the Miura only car in the movie that was a match was the Pantera and then the 308,most of the other cars in the movie were loaned by other car clubs. The truck met an unfortunate end 7 months after the movie when my cousin was clipped by a bitch in a toyota supra. -- Last edit: 2018-02-25 05:16:11 |

1badgmc ![]() | This truck is a '79 GMC C10. The grille has been blacked out, but in the movie you can see the GMC badge in the center. '77-'79 were the only years between '73 and '79 to have 4 vertical bars in the grille and '79 was the only year to have full chrome bezels around both the headlights and parking lights, which this truck has. | 2017-12-22 22:27 | ||
josiewales ![]() | I worked on this car shortly after this movie was made. Here are a couple of pictures I took in front of my shop.![]() ![]() I saw this car again around 1999 or so at an import shop where it was parked not running with an inch of dust on it. |
