ingo DEIt seems to be filmed around Frankfurt/Main. Around there are many US military bases, so a lot ot US-spec cars are running there. Many of them were sold by local used car dealers. If you do the required conversions -mainly of the lighting system- and pay some import-tax, you can registrate it officially in Germany. 2012-05-12 22:20
rjluna2 USProbably converted for the European market. Thanks, tonkatracker ;) 2012-05-09 14:09
tonkatracker USThis is not an EU Spec model... EU spec models had two fog lamps (or one fog and one reversing lamp in the rear bumper and the taillights had amber on the bottom (where the reverse lights are)

This is what the EU bumper looked like: http://img827.imageshack.us/img827/4865/vanrear.jpg

Tönz DEJDs of that range are indeed made in Mannheim, Germany. 2012-05-08 23:44

Tönz DEThe UPS Sprinters are made by Spier (called 'P45' in UPS jargon) and look a bit more robust, like the typical Vario based UPS vans that are bodied by the same company. 2012-05-08 23:36

ingo DEOnly for the Post? Not for UPS, too? There are Sprinter-based UPS-Vans running here, too. 2012-05-08 22:24
ingo DESome clumps of filler were used, too, as it seems. The back wheel arch looks like pure plastic. In Germany such undead wrecks have the nickname "Presto-Bomber", from http://www.motipdupli.de/?L=2&id=781 2012-05-08 22:23
Tönz DELooks like one of 8,900 308 CDI bodied by Kögel for German Postal Services from 2000 to 2002. 2012-05-08 22:19
dsl SX1981+ wing indicators would normally make it SC, but older wheels and just looks somehow older (despite the oil filler - doesn't necessarily have to cover the oil filler if a newer wing has been fitted). Body colour mirrors usually 76+. I'd be cautious and go for battered and bandaged 76+ Carrera. 2012-05-08 22:05
