Lowlander SXMercedes-Benz O303 with bodywork by Dalla Via. Can't find a picture of that combination, but here is a similar body on a Fiat:

Lowlander SXBody is one of these, but I don't know the manufacturer. Windows are distinctive:

Lowlander SX@JB, those pictures show the usual Padane body with a short section of sloping roof forward of the front wheelarch, but the one in the image above has a much longer sloping roof that is almost a third of the length of the body. Also, on looking closer I think the one in the image above has what appears to be a vertical window/door pillar on the opposite side, whereas on Padane bodies the pillar was usually raked back at the same angle as the windscreen. If it is a Padane body it is apparently quite an unusual/uncommon one, so it would be useful to find a photograph of one like it to confirm exactly what it is.

Edit: After some searching I think it is a Garbarini body:

AnimatronixX DE@Lowlander: Yeah, it does look strange! When this show was current, I collected bus brochures and I seem to recall Padane answered my request by sending me some of theirs. I will check what they sent me back then and post an update in case the variant seen above comes up.

Edit: No, doesn't appear anywhere in the brochures Officine Padane S.p.A. of Modena sent me back then. :(

Lowlander SXI agree it is bound to be a M-B O303 chassis, and that the body looks like a Padane. However, I've never seen (and can't find a picture of) a Padane body with such a long sloping roof/window line. The sloping roof was a characteristic feature of Padanes of this era, but usually it was much shorter and forward of the front axle (i.e. about half the length of the sloping roof on this one). Perhaps it's just a less common variant, but does anyone know of a photo of this style elsewhere? 2021-11-24 14:43

dsl SXLooks like a mongrel - black grille should be 1981-ish, usually Mini 1000 Special for F, especially when black paint. But looks too tatty for film date; rear lights may be before 76 as no obvious reversers and rear wheel has 60s/early 70s design. So my guess is 1970+ Mini 1000 Mk3, Austin badged for F. 2021-11-22 13:11

You're right. Unless those with a sun roof (very rare). And the GTL had the anthracite bumpers & claddings since 1980 MY.
