RushCars24ID ![]() | Per of Dhill_cb7 in his recent W202 changes in this site, these were came here as a 1994 MY, according to Mercedes-Benz. Yes, our Mercs sold here utilizes VINs and RPOs, unlike the other cars sold in Indonesia. Also, Dhill, did you forgot to add the trim level on this while editing these W202s? I'm guessing a Classic by the hubcaps. Not gonna tell if it's either a C 180 or C 200. |

RushCars24ID ![]() | Yup, it is, 1993-1995 with that front fascia, origin is fully Indonesian because it was designated for the Indonesian market initially and was never offered for the JDM market. Minivan versions for 1993-1995 were sold with the Astrea Bodytech nomenclature (at least put that exclusively on the extra info). Also, why 1.3 [S89]? Was the 1.0 [S88] still exists for 1993-1995/6? Best to leave this without a motor and [S88/89] as the generic chassis code without further information. | 2022-07-14 10:23 | ||
NissanSilviaKs ![]() | I've never actually seen a VP Commodore in Indonesia or even any Commodore after the VL, it's actually quite fascinating. Holden did sell the Commodore in Indonesia but only from VB to VL when Holden eventually left Indonesia around 1986 and 1991 because they could not compete with the Japanese competition (nail in the coffin was when the diesel Holden Gemini was rebadged as the Isuzu version in '89 and when Udatimex closed their doors in '91). I don't know how this one ended up in Indonesian shores, maybe it was imported from Australia i've heard about an SS VU Ute that was imported to Indonesia and probably the only VU Ute there... ![]() |

nzcarnerd ![]() | Looks like it - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_Kijang - a new one on me. Seems that Indonesia was one of its main markets. I see it uses the bigger versions of the old Toyota K engine. Hard to tell with this one which trim level it is and whether it is long or short wheelbase. -- Last edit: 2016-04-24 05:02:31 |
