dsl SXThe only comment I can add is that the KBY xxxC series does not seem to have been issued in period (although KBY xxxD was genuine from March 66). So I think KBY 95C is a more recent retro plate from DVLA and not the original identity (whether 3.4 or 3.8), an idea which the DVLA date of first registration as 1989 may support. However I am surprised at a retro combination so close to a real issue - normally they use clearly different series. 2012-10-04 22:21
laurie ENThe hot Potato - Interesting I own this car or were there two, I bought a 3.4 litre automatic red car From TLO film Services with a certificate of authenticity with the transition plates KBY 95C, the registration was changed during or just before filming even had a 1969 tax disc from the film set in the window.

I drove it back from the TLO, cars from Hot fuzz and other tv shows were available although the police cars from hot fuzz were a bit of a mess

The car is currently undergoing restoration and the car is a 1962, they may used a green 3.8 that was manual for some of the other shots, but with marks on the bumper and the inside no doubt is my 3.4

chicomarx BEThis must be a tribute to Rundskop with the same plate, 4. K T27 /vehicle_509351-Volkswagen-Jetta-Typ-19E-1990.html Though that's only a minor action vehicle. Or both provided by the same people. 2012-09-08 02:24

DynaMike NLAvec ces grand clignotants de la 403 je dirais que c'est plutôt une D4A... 2012-09-08 00:00
DynaMike NLThe grille was used on all 1967+ (model year) 2CV's, no way to tell AZU or AK 350 apart from this angle. The difference is (other than the engine) the longer rear body, the longer side window and a one-piece rear bumper instead of two small bumper tubes. I think the shodow in the thumbnail shows rather a shorter rear body, so I'd go for an AZU (but impossible to be 100% sure, here). 2012-09-07 23:54
DynaMike NLActually this one dates from 1962 (I know the owner via internet and if everything will be alright, I'll meet hem and this car tomorrow :) ) 2012-09-07 22:23

rpcm PTIt lacks all the side chrome trim of the 300 SE and with this spec (reinforced by the location of the external mirror) the DVLA details make sense: 1962 220 SE Coupé [W111].

rpcm PT1962+ (or even 1964/65 since the mirror is on the door) 190 or 190 D. In this case I think 190 D makes more sense since it's a taxi. 2012-09-07 15:44
(inactive user)This is the page of unidentified vehicles.
Now, if the Model field for the car contains any other letters or words than 'unknown', the car won't show up on that page. This is how we name the unknown vehicles.
'Citroen* 2CV unknown**' won't work.
It will only work as: 'Citroen* unknown**'
* = Make
** = Model

Sunbar UK1958 - 1968 MkI FX4 front wing sidelights and no turn indicators (roof-mounted).

edit: 1958 - 1963 for the Austin 'shield' badge on the grille.

dsl SXIf 67-68 I'd guess 300SE for chrome and 4 lights. DVLA details are gibberish for 676 XUF (as just Mercedes without Benz):
Date of Liability 01 04 2012
Date of First Registration 06 12 2007
Year of Manufacture 1962
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 220cc
CO2 Emissions 0g/Km
Fuel Type PETROL
Export Marker Y
Vehicle Status Unlicensed
Vehicle Colour BLUE
Vehicle Type Approval Not Available.
