We did not get 1300 Junior Spider after Oct 69, and don't seem to have had 1600 Spider after Feb 68, when 1750 Spider arrived which lasted until July 70 as longtail. Then there was a 9 month gap without any Spiders available until square-cut tail 1750 arrived April 71 until Feb 72, theoretically overlapping with 2000 Spider for a few months which arrived Oct 71 and continued until April 78. zodiac  | Writing something as definitive as that here on imcdb is like (Swedish expression) swearing in church. If something look similar to a certain model sold on a certain market, one has to be aware that on other markets cars could be called something completely different. That is because of legislation, demands, and possibly also by chance. If MY 1975,which is not unlikely because of the colour, and if sold in Sweden, there were two alternatives; L or DL. - L had the OHV B20A engine previously used on the 140-series, simple upholstery with stripes and no watch on the center panel. - DL had the OHC B21A engine, upholstery in one colour and had a watch. If My 1976, also the L version was equipped with the B21A engine, because the older engine couldn't cope with the 1976 emission demands. Other markets used the fuel injected B21F (at least USA) or B21E (at least Holland (I think), and was called GL) engine. On both markets there were solid colours available. One can only be sure until one dig deep enough. But I do know one thing for sure; Please change from 745 to 245! |

But no trace found for a #57 or #157 apart from OBL 45F on 1969 Tour de France (Paddy Hopkirk/Tony Nash, finished 14th) where it would not have had all the rally kit. I've got some incomplete lists of army plates, which show several 52KBxx numbers as Scammell Commanders (tank transporters). Other 52Kxxx numbers in the list come up as Land Rovers, bulldozers, or a handful of Bv206 Hagglunds All Terrain Vehicle. 52K312 would be total fake. |
